Glossybox February 2016

To be completely honest, over the last few months I’ve found myself falling in love with the whole beauty box concept as there have been quite a lot of underwhelming boxes from all of the beauty box brands, however I’m back to being excited again after opening the Glossybox February 2016 box.

Glossybox February 2016

The theme for this month’s Glossybox is ‘Love is in the air’ which is pretty apt as Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us, and amazingly, the box contains five full size products which definitely makes it a winner in my books. New to Glossybox? It’s a monthly subscription which costs £13.25 per month and you cancel anytime should you wish to

Kicking off with the first product inside the box, is the MUA Power Pout Glaze worth £3.50 in the shade Hush which is a really pretty, shimmery nude shade which works as the perfect lipstick topper where you want some extra shine.

I’ve not tried these before, but I really like the formula and it’s not too sticky either. The boxes will feature different shades so you might get any of the six shades inside your box but as a whole they’re very sheer.

I love eyeliners so I was happy to see one inside the Glossybox February 2016 box, especially as it’s a wearable colour for once. I got the Nicka K New York 24H Waterproof Eyeliner worth £3.99 in the shade dark brown. The formula of this liner is fantastic.. creamy, smooth and pigmented, and it doesn’t drag or pull the skin.

The point of the liner is really fine which is ideal for the lashline, and it even includes a sharpener in the base so you can keep it sharp, as well as an handy little smudging sponge too. Plus.. this liner does not budge. I had to use a oil-based makeup remover just to remove these swatches which is amazing.

Next up is the NAOBAY Protective Hair Mask Volume Conditioner worth £10.64. I wasn’t thrilled to see NAOBAY feature in the box as they’ve featured in previous boxes but this conditioner smells divine, and it sounds like a lovely, protective yet volumising conditioning treatment which my hair could really use right now.

The NAOBAY products are natural and organic, and it’s nice to have a full size of a conditioner as most beauty brands include a small size which doesn’t really give you enough to be able to try it out properly. Normally I wouldn’t like a conditioner without a shampoo, but this is more of an hair mask than a typical conditioner so I really don’t mind.

Then I got the Wilkinson Sword Intuition Ultra Moisture Razor worth £7.49 which I’m thrilled about, as the Intuition razors are my absolute favourite for shaving my legs.

The razor has four blades for a really close shave, but the blades are surrounded by a moisturising and conditioning soap which leaves the skin feeling super soft and smooth. The box even includes a holder for your shower wall to hold it in place so the water drains away without rusting the blades.

I’m quite meticulous when it comes to my brows, and I love trying new tweezer brands so I’m looking forward to trying these Browtician Love Skull Limited Edition Tweezers worth £7.99.

I’ve never heard of Browtician before, but these tweezers look really great with a fab little plastic case to keep them in to stop them getting damaged. The tips of these tweezers have been hand finished for maximum precision and I really like the bold and colourful print, and can’t wait to try them.

This months’ Glossybox really is an amazing box, and I’m happy with every thing which virtually never happens – what can I say, I’m hard to please?! I’d love to know if you got anything different inside your February Glossybox?
