I love it when Glossybox do one off boxes, and their newest release might be my favourite one yet. For Mother’s Day they’ve created the Spoil Me Silly Limited Edition Glossybox which really would be the most perfect gift idea.
The Spoil Me Silly Limited Edition Glossybox is £30 for existing Glossybox subscribers and is £35 for non-subscribers yet the contents are worth £85 which is a fantastic deal so I’d recommend snapping it up if you want to, as I imagine it’ll sell out quickly.
The first item in the box is definitely the star item, and is a pair of Stella & Dot Vintage Crystal Studs worth £20, which are half an inch in size with titanium steel posts and silver plating.
The crystals are stunning with ten facets so they really catch the light and they’re packaged in a gorgeous red gift box which makes them even more lovely. They’re such pretty earrings, and I love that they’re a classic design as anyone would love them.
Next up is a 25ml tube of the Crabtree & Evelyn Pomegranate Ultra Moisturising Hand Therapy worth £5. The hand cream contains shea butter, natural macadamia nut oil, fresh pomegranate, grapeseed and argan oils to soothe the hands, whilst myrrh extract works to condition the nails and cuticles.
I really like the Crabtree & Evelyn hand creams as they’re nourishing and they smell great too.
The next item is a full size 200ml Naobay Protective Hair Mask Volume Conditioner worth £10.64 which featured in the February Glossybox. This is a protective yet volumising conditioning treatment, and it smells good which is an added bonus.
I think it’s strange that Glossybox decided to put the very same product in their standard box this month and their limited edition box, but it’s a good product and I’m sure my mum would love it too.
Then we have a 30ml tube of the Aurelia Miracle Cleanser worth £8.50 which comes with a mini muslin cloth which is adorable. The cleanser contains supercharged levels of probiotics and peptides essential for radiant and youthful skin. It sounds like an incredible cleanser;
“fusing probiotic and peptide technologies with BioOrganic plant and flower essences to hydrate and soothe dull and dehydrated skin, promoting a luminous, dewy, radiant glow whilst helping to prevent skin ageing. Concentrated BioOrganic 100% pure botanicals include Baobab, which is rich in precious Omega 3, 6 & 9 to revitalise the skin, firming Kigelia Africana and antioxidant-rich Hibiscus to fight oxidative stress.
A delicate but uplifting blend of Chamomile, Eucalyptus, Rosemary and Bergamot work harmoniously within this luxurious cleanser“.
The next two items is a full size of the Sanctuary Beauty Sleep Face Mask worth £12 and a really cute lilac satin Sleep Mask. The mask is powered by the breakthrough innovative tetrapeptide Chronogen which works in harmony with your skin overnight, when it is most receptive to renewal & regeneration.
With a rich luxurious jelly creates a comforting cushion, delivering an intense boost of hydration & a dose of anti-ageing actives whilst you sleep. Wake up to discover skin that looks healthier & more youthful, plumper, softer & smoother. In 2 weeks, fine lines look faded & in 4 weeks, wrinkles appear reduced.
The last two items are makeup items… the Laqa & Co Sheer Lip Lube Pencil in the shade Bees Knees. We did get a small size of this in the July Birchbox in 2014, but this is the full size worth £10.49 and Bees Knees is a gorgeous peachy shade and my mum likes peach shades so I’m sure it’ll be a hit.
The last item in the Spoil Me Silly Limited Edition Glossybox is another full size – so many full sizes in this box! There is a pair of the Eyeko Black Magic Eyelash Curlers worth £12, and they have black velvet grips with a sleek matte black finish on the metal, and come with two replacement lash pads which is really handy.
I am so impressed with the Spoil Me Silly Limited Edition Glossybox, especially as it contains no disappointments with lots of full sizes. The £85 value is incredible considering the box is only £30/£35 and I think any Mum would be delighted to receive this box as a gift on Mothers Day and I can’t wait to give this box to my mum as I know she’s going to love it – who wouldn’t?!
