bareMinerals have just launched a gorgeous new limited edition collection called the Lovescape Collection, which consists of five different products. From the new collection, I have two products; the bareMinerals Bareskin Sheer Skin Serum Bronzer and the bareMinerals Perfecting Face Brush and I’ve been so impressed by the two. Having a super pale skin means I tend to steer well clear of anything with bronze in the title as it’s so hard to find products which work well with my skintone so I was a little apprehensive that the Serum Bronzer would be a little too dark for my skintone but it really isn’t at all.

The bareMinerals Bareskin Sheer Skin Serum Bronzer 30ml £25 follows on from the massive success of the bareMinerals bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation, and is described as being a silky sheer bronzer and serum all in one. It has been designed to supposedly flatter all skintones with a natural looking bronze glow with an ultra-thin texture which delivers a silky soft focus finish. The Serum Bronzer is formulated with antioxidant lilac plant stem cells and is suitable for all skin types.

The Serum Bronzer is packaged within a bronze coloured plastic bottle with a gold lid which you have to shake before use with a ball bearing inside the bottle to thoroughly mix the fluid. The bottle as a small nozzle neck, and the bronzer drops out in a very thin liquidy consistency which I apply to the back of my hand and then apply to my face. The colour of the bareMinerals Bareskin Sheer Skin Serum Bronzer is pretty dark which I found to be quite intimidating initially but as you can see from the swatches above, it blends out amazingly well for a gorgeous bronze glow even on my very pale skin.

I’ve found that I only need a tiny amount of product; around two drops for bronzing my whole complexion but if you have darker skin than mine, you’ll perhaps need to use a little more. I would really agree with its serum claims, as it does feel more like a skincare product than a typical liquid bronzer and it feels so lightweight on the skin. I am really looking forward to using this Serum Bronzer as we edge towards the warmer months as it’s such an easy to use bronzer, and I find the finish to be a lot more natural than a powder bronzer and it makes my skin look so healthy and luminous.

As part of the bareMinerals Lovescape Collection, they’ve also released a limited edition gold version of their Perfecting Face Brush. You can already purchase the bareMinerals Perfecting Face Brush for £24, but the new gold version is £25 and is so much more luxe and beautiful. The brush has a stunning gold metal handle and ferrules with dark chocolate coloured synthetic bristles which has an unique fluid reservoir which allows for a no-mess foundation application. The bristles are so soft and silky, and it works perfectly at blending the Bronzer Serum over the top of my foundation without moving my foundation around, and it works well at blending foundation or concealer too.
