Clarins Petal Shimmer Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector
The Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors are my favourite lip product formula, and I’ve already raved about the Rose Shimmer shade already on my blog. The newest shade in my collection is the Clarins Petal Shimmer Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector £18 and it’s already knocked MAC Creme Cup off the top spot for my favourite nude shade.
The Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors are described as being a softly textured lip gel with a deliciously sweet scent, and they contain Shea Butter, Wild Mango and plant perhydrosqualene to repair and soften the lips whilst derivatives of Vitamins A and E reinforce the repairing action and protect against free radicals.
The packaging of the Clarins Petal Shimmer Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector is quite plain and simple, with a squeezy plastic tube which is coloured to reflect the shade inside the tube which I always like especially when you own multiple shades.
The tube has a slanted sponge applicator which dispenses the gloss when you lightly squeeze the tube so you can apply directly onto the lips with the sponge. The Clarins Lip Perfectors are quite sheer in terms of colour so you can apply them without a mirror as they’re so easy to apply.
The Clarins Petal Shimmer Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector is the prettiest pale pink which is pretty much identical to my natural lip colour which is why it’s become my favourite nude as it compliments absolutely any eyeshadow or blush, and it can be used a topper over lipsticks or lipliners too. If you have naturally darker lips, this shade may look a little too pale for you but it really is ideal for those of us with pale skin and pale lips.
If you’ve never tried the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors, you really are missing out. They are so comfortable on the lips, and they have a delicious subtle vanilla scent which makes them even more lovely. Not only are they comfortable to wear, and are pretty, they also leave my lips feels so soft and smooth almost like a lip balm.
They’re not particularly long wearing but they don’t claim to have a long wearing formula so you can’t complain really, but they take seconds to apply so reapplication is not a problem. I can honestly see myself getting all of the shades in the range as I love the formula so much, and I appreciate that I don’t have to keep checking my lips when I wear them as they don’t bleed or settle in the lines of your lips.
