Ole Henriksen Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask

Ole Henriksen is a brand that I had the pleasure of trying for the first time in 2015, and I really liked what I tried; especially the Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Creme. Their newest product launch is the Ole Henriksen Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask 100ml £38 which claims to deeply cleanse, smooth and brighten the skin and is a decadent exfoliating facial mask.

The mask contains nature’s finest exfoliators, sugar and pomegranate seeds which work to polish away dead skin cells to refine the skin’s texture whilst nourishing and soothing honey leaves the skin looking and feeling soft and supple. It also contains rose hips, and pumpkin extract which help to naturally brighten and boost radiance.

The directions for using the Ole Henriksen Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask is to apply it to clean damp skin and leave for 5-10 minutes, and then add warm water and gently massage in a circular motion for 30 seconds and rinse. The mask can be used upto three times a week, and is suitable for all skin types.

The mask is packaged within a large circular pot with a screw lid which you simply scoop the mask from and then apply directly to the face. The consistency of the mask is really quite grainy and it reminds me of some sort of marmalade or jam especially with the seeds, and I couldn’t wait to smear it all over my face for a much needed radiance boost.

I really love the scent of the mask, as it smells quite sugary and citrusy, with an almost sticky consistency which glides over the skin quite nicely. The sugar particles and seeds work amazingly at buffing the skin but thanks to the honey it really soothes the skin so it isn’t left feeling sore or dry.

It really does feel like a fantastic multi-use product in that it exfoliates the skin, it cleanses the skin thoroughly and then manages to soften and moisturise the skin too. The Ole Henriksen Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask is one of the nicest masks I’ve ever used, and I love that it tackles multiple skin concerns and smells divine which just adds to the whole experience.
