I experienced Shay & Blue for the very first time thanks to the Latest in Beauty Dream Box in collaboration with British Beauty Blogger which included a tiny sample of their Framboise Noir fragrance which I fell in love with. The newest Shay & Blue fragrance is English Cherry Blossom which couldn’t be more perfect for a Spring fragrance launch. The Shay & Blue English Cherry Blossom Fragrance is available in two sizes; a 30 ml £30 and an 100ml £55 size and can be purchased directly from the Shay & Blue website which offers free delivery on all UK orders. The bottles are so beautifully presented in a blue gift box complete with a striped a bow which would make for a stunning gift.
The Shay & Blue English Cherry Blossom Fragrance contains top notes of bergamot and green mandarin which is said to give a sparkling citrus lift to the pink blossoms. With heart notes of fig, cassis, honeysuckle and black cherries and base notes of iris and woods. All Shay & Blue fragrances are handcrafted in England and are made with real flowers, fruit and spices which I really love as it makes them so much more unique and special compared to other fragrance brands.
When it comes to fragrance, I tend to lean towards woody and spicy scents as I’m not really a big floral fan but after trying this Cherry Blossom fragrance, I may well have been converted as I absolutely love it. It’s a lot more delicate than my typical go-to fragrances are but I think that’s why I love it so much as it really does remind me of beautiful, dainty cherry blossoms which scatter across our garden throughout Spring. I think some floral scents can smell a little ‘mature’ shall we say, but this is a lovely fruity floral with a little zest which would appeal to all ages. Not only is the fragrance beautiful, but the packaging is exquisite with a blue glass bottle, and gold metal lid with a blue plaque; it really does stand out amongst my other fragrances, and I’m really looking forward to trying more of their fragrances.
