Birchbox April 2016

It’s time for the Birchbox April 2016, and this month’s theme is ‘Blooming Marvelous’ which fits in nicely with Spring and they’ve collaborated with the Rifle Paper Company for a special box design, and you’ll receive one of two floral based designs for your box.

I really like the colourful box, but it’s what’s inside the box that counts right? Birchbox is £12.95 per month, and you can cancel your subscription at any time should you wish to. This month the items are packaged within one of the Birchbox drawstring cloth bags and the box contains a discount code for the Rifle Paper Co should you wish to place an order.

The first item within the Birchbox April 2016 box is the Balance Me Tinted Wonder Eye Cream worth £20. The Tinted Wonder Eye Cream is a natural anti aging eye cream that combines colour coverage with enhancing skincare benefits which eradicates fine lines and blurs away dark circles.

It contains Cucumber Seed Oil which gently cools, calms and moisturises skin to reduce puffiness and brighten skin tone, Rosehip Oil which is a powerful and vital skin antioxidant that encourages cell growth and renewal, and Arctic Cloudberry Seed Extract which in anti-oxidants and vitamin E this wonder-berry creates a barrier, protecting skin from environmental damage.

It’s such a shame that this is a tinted eye cream as sadly it’s much too dark for me, as it’s very orangey for my super pale skin so I can’t make it work but I’ll pass it onto someone that can make it work.

Next up is a 30ml sample of the Parlor Detangling Leave-In Conditioner worth £3.46. Parlor is a Birchbox exclusive brand, and their products have featured in at least two previous Birchbox boxes.

This is described as being a leave in conditioner which offers weightless moisture and shine, and it smells incredible so I’m looking forward to trying it. Then there is a 40ml sample of the Kueshi Foot Care Cream worth £4, and contains tea tree oil, royal jelly and sweet almond oil to hydrate the feet.

The last two items in the box are makeup which is always a winner in my books. Firstly we have a 5ml sample of the Benefit Dew The Hoola worth £3.75 which has only recently launched, so it’s fab that Birchbox have included a sample within the box.

This is a tiny sample but it really is enough for at least a couple of month’s as you only need the smallest amount. Lastly we got a miniature sample of the Cynthia Rowley Eyeliner worth £4 which we received in the February Birchbox and as you know, I’m not a fan of repeats but black liner is something I use everyday so I’m pleased it’s in this month’s box.

So they are all of the items inside the Birchbox April 2016 box. Did you get anything different to me? What’s your favourite product this month?
