Glossybox April 2016

It’s time for the Glossybox April 2016, and I’m really happy with this month’s box. Out of all the beauty boxes, I think Glossybox are doing a fantastic job with their boxes lately especially as they always contain at least one full size item, and usually always a makeup item each month too which I love.

For this month’s box the theme is Spring Preening, and I think the products within the box are pretty good as far as the theme goes, and there isn’t one item within the box that I won’t use…

Glossybox April 2016

The first item within the Glossybox April 2016 box is the Look Good Feel Better Studio 10 Brow Lift Perfecting Liner worth £22. The reasoning behind this product is amazing, so I’ve included the description.. “Studio 10 are showing their support for cancer charity Look Good Feel Better with their #raise1brow campaign – an opportunity to raise awareness (and some much-needed funding) for this phenomenal organisation as they work hard to support, advise and help boost the morale of women and teenagers battling cancer and the side-effects of treatment.

For every Brow Lift Perfecting Liner sold, Studio 10 will donate one (worth £22) to the charity, in a bid to help women affected by cancer feel confident, and regain control over their appearance during a daunting period of change and uncertainty.” It really is an amazing charity, and the quality of this pencil is really good with a ‘universal’ brown shade and a cream side, and it’s a full size product which is worth a lot more than the box.

Next is another full size, and is the NEXT Make Me Beautiful Lip Chubby in Cherry Red worth £8. NEXT have recently relaunched their beauty range, so I’m excited that one of their products is in the box as I’ve been wanting to try the new range. This is a typical chubby lip crayon, which is supposedly softening due to plant waxes and is long wearing too.

Then we have a 7ml sample of the Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil worth £6.53. I’ve not tried any of the newer Oils of Life range from The Body Shop so this mini sample is perfect, especially as I love a good facial oil. This sample might look really small but you only need a couple of drops from the pipette so it’s the ideal chance to try the oil and decide if you want the full size or not.

Then we have a full size of the Swiss Smile Whitening Toothpaste worth £28.95, and claims to remove any stains and gently restore the teeth to their natural whiteness without damaging the teeth in the process. I’ve never heard of this brand before, but the reviews I’ve read since receiving this toothpaste within the box are all really positive so I’ll definitely give it a go.

The last product in the box is another full size, and is another Leighton Denny Miracle Mist Speed Drying Spray worth £11, and is a mist which you spray over the top of your wet nail polish to speed up the drying time as well as conditioning your cuticles. I used to use a drying spray from Elegant Touch but it was awful, so I’m intrigued to see how this one compares as Leighton Denny products tend to be really good quality.

I’d love to know if you got anything different in your box, and which is your favourite item this month?
