Dirty Works Coconut Body Wash

Have you ever been guilty of judging a brand without even trying it? Well I’ve been very guilty of that with the Dirty Works brand, and I’ll hold my hands up and admit it. I just assumed that the products wouldn’t be any good as they looked like they were trying to copy Soap & Glory but after trying their new Dirty Works Coconut Body Wash, I am kicking myself for being so judgemental. If you’re new to the Dirty Works brand, their products are available to purchase in Sainsbury’s stores as well as their website and their products are all very affordable with the Coconut Body Wash retailing for only £2.50 for 200ml which is pretty great value.

Dirty Works Coconut Body Wash

The Dirty Works Coconut Body Wash has launched just in time for Summer, and contains nourishing coconut oil, hydrating passion fruit extract and moisture-rich allantoin to leave the skin beautifully soft, smooth and delicately scented. I really love the brightly coloured packaging of the bottle, and that it has a matte finish which I’ve found to be quite handy for added grip with wet hands within the shower.

The Body Wash is a clear, thick gel which surprised me; I don’t know why, I guess it’s because coconut shower gels tend to be creams but I like that the gel is quite thick as it doesn’t just slide off my wet skin onto the shower’s floor.

I sometimes find that clear shower gels and body washes can be difficult to lather, but I haven’t found that to be an issue with the Dirty Works Coconut Body Wash. It doesn’t create masses of lather, but it certainly lathers up enough to thoroughly cleanse the skin without having to use a shower puff.

Once I’ve dried my skin, the Body Wash leaves my skin feeling so lovely and smooth and the scent does linger for an hour or two which is a nice bonus. I am such an huge fan of anything coconut scented, especially during the warmer months and I love the coconut scent of this body wash as it doesn’t smell too artificial which is pretty impressive for a £2.50 shower gel.

Have you ever tried anything from Dirty Works? Have you been guilty of judging a brand without even trying anything and have been proved wrong like myself?
