Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum

I tried the Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum for the first time a few months ago thanks to a sample I got within a Feelunique order, and it was love at first spritz.. so much so, I went straight online and ordered the full size which I know is pretty impulsive but I just had to have the full size. The Jimmy Choo fragrance is available both in an eau de parfum and eau de toilette format, but I always tend to opt for eau de parfums as they’re stronger, and last longer on the skin so I spray less than I would with an eau de toilette. The Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum is available in three sizes; 40ml, 60ml and 100ml and I bought the 60ml size as I found it to be the best deal at the time, but I liked that the sizes were a little bigger than the normal 30ml/50ml fragrance sizes.

The Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum £51 is the original Jimmy Choo fragrance which launched in 2011 and is described as a ‘feminine yet empowering with a lot of sensuality to it’. It features top notes of mandarin orange, pear and green notes, and heart of orchid and base notes of toffee and patchouli. I would describe the scent as being almost like incense sticks, in that it’s woody, sensual and spicy and I absolutely love it and it’s definitely in my top five fragrances of all time (it featured in my top 5 post here). I’m cringing whilst typing this, but it really is a sexy scent and everytime I wear it, my OH asks me what I’m wearing and even though he’s asked me a million times and evidently has the memory of a goldfish, it’s his favourite fragrance of mine.

The spray on the bottle is a little over zealous and I find I only need to do one spray as it covers my whole neck, so this 60ml bottle is going to last me forever as it lasts all day on me and I never have to top it up. I’ve been so bowled over by this scent that I assumed I’d like Jimmy Choo Flash, but I really didn’t like it so I’ll stick with the original scent for now but I’m dying to try the new Jimmy Choo Illicit fragrance as the notes sound like my kind of scent. I cannot rave about this fragrance enough.. it’s divine, and you need to try it.
