Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Gold Couture Eau de Parfum

I am currently on a massive Juicy Couture fragrance loving phase, and the newest addition to my collection is the Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Gold Couture Eau de Parfum 30ml £35 which I bought back in the post-Christmas Feel unique sale. I already reviewed a few of the Juicy Couture fragrances here on my blog; the Couture La La, Viva La Juicy and Couture The Original. and in all honesty they’re all pretty similar so you probably don’t need more than one, but I think they’re different enough to warrant having them.

The Viva La Juicy Gold Couture Eau de Parfum is described as being a glamorous and decadent version of the original with a golden composition – I’m not entirely sure what that means, but I figured it was worth a purchase whilst it was on offer.

The design of the bottle is going to be a love it or hate it situation, and I think I’m on the hate it side of the fence. The bottle has yellow glass, and golden chrome middle with a gold Juicy Couture logo on the front with ‘Couture’ in neon pink over the top.

The lid has the typical crystal-esque stopper design, with a piece of polka dot voile tied into a bow. I definitely prefer the design of the other Juicy Couture fragrances, and tend to keep this bottle towards the back as it’s a little too gaudy for my liking but it’s what’s inside that counts.

Note wise,  Juicy Gold Couture £38 has top notes of wild berries, an heart of Sambac Jasmine and honeysuckle, and a base of sandalwood, golden amber, caramel and vanilla elixir. I love sweet and warm scents, so a fragrance which is both sweet and warm is always going to be a winner in my book. Viva La Juicy Gold Couture to me, smells like a warmer version of the original Viva La Juicy and is an ideal evening alternative due to its warmth.

Just like the other Juicy Couture fragrances, Gold Couture doesn’t impress longevity wise as it fades within three to four hours but I still enjoy wearing it nonetheless. It’s a beautiful fragrance, but it’s not particularly unique in my opinion but I would recommend this over Prada Candy as it’s much better value and it’s a little nicer too.
