Laura Geller Peach Glow and Charming Pink Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators

The Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators are incredible. I already own the shades Gilded Honey and Ballerina, and I love them both respectively so I was thrilled when I heard that they’d introduced two new shades to the Gelato Swirl lineup; Laura Geller Peach Glow and Charming Pink. The Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators are £21 each and has an innovative hybrid texture which applies like a sheer powder but feels like a cream, creating a translucent wash of luminous colour that can be swept all over the face for a lit-from-within glow. The pan features a 3D design which captures the look of Laura Geller’s favourite Italian dessert, and lasts until the very last application.

The Illuminator is packaged within a circular, plastic compact with a clear lid and it contains 4.5 grams of product which isn’t a lot compared to other higher end highlighters but these highlighters are just so intensely pigmented that you only need to very gently tap your brush onto the powder for enough product for all of your highlighting needs so I think they’re definitely worthy of their price tag.

Even with daily use, my other two shades; Gilded Honey and Ballerina look practically new so they will last you for a considerably long time and you can even use them as eyeshadow toppers like I do as they’re so beautifully reflective.

The Laura Geller Peach Glow and Charming Pink Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators are absolutely beautiful, and I think I actually prefer Peach Glow and Charming Pink to Gilded Honey and Ballerina as I feel like they’re a little more subtle in comparison which work better for my very pale skin.

Laura Geller Peach Glow is a stunning peachy gold shade, and Charming Pink is a pale pink shade and I really like that they’re both quite neutral in tone whereas Gilded Honey and Ballerina are a lot warmer so they’re perhaps better suited for those with warmer skintones.

My favourite way to apply the Laura Geller Peach Glow Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators is with a fan brush, and the texture is unbelievably creamy for a powder thanks to the baked formula and they can be applied both wet or dry.

I personally much prefer to use them dry as I prefer a more subtle highlight but I like that you have the option to go stronger with the intensity should you wish to. I simply cannot rave about these highlighters enough.. they’re beyond incredible, and I really hope Laura Geller continues to introduce more shades in the Illuminator range as I love them.
