I always look forward to the Clarins collections as they’re always something special, and I’m always left lusting after numerous items within each collection. The newest collection is the Clarins Beauty In Bloom Collection which consists of four pieces and is limited edition with the Clarins Daily Energizer Lovely Lip Balm and three new shades of the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors which are one of Clarins bestsellers. Each of the four products within the Clarins Beauty In Bloom Collection have a lovely floral twist to their packaging and boxes which fits with the Beauty in Bloom collection name perfectly; they really are beautifully packaged.
Clarins Beauty In Bloom Collection – Clarins Daily Energizer Lovely Lip Balm £16
This has to be the prettiest lipbalm I’ve ever seen, just look at the gorgeous eco-designed white packaging with red, pink and coral petals. The lipbalm has a typical twist up mechanism which reveals the deliciously scented peach balm which really does smell incredible and it reminds me of a fruit sorbet or a Solero icecream.
The balm contains organic cocoa butter and shea oil to nourish and repair lips and redcurrant extract to leave lips feeling smoother and fuller-looking and contains an intelligent pigment, which is said to react to the pH of the lips to bring out their natural colour and enhance them with a bespoke rosy radiance.
I’m never 100% on the pH technology, but this balm really does impart a pretty peachy pink tint. I really hope they decide to make this balm a permanent fixture within their collection as it’s absolutely lovely, and I haven’t reached for any other lipbalm since I got it as I love the scent, taste, tint and its moisturising properties.
Clarins Beauty In Bloom Collection – Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors £18
I am already a massive fan of the Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors so I was excited to see the three new additions to the collection. There is a Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector are one of Clarins most popular products, with one being sold every 36 seconds worldwide which is amazing.
To celebrate the Summer, Clarins have introduced three limited edition shades with 3D radiance pigments which optically smooth the lips to create a natural gloss finish, whilst the extracts of shea butter and wild mango butter restore the hydrolipidic film to leave lips soft and protected. Each of the plastic, squeezy tubes are colour coordinated to match the colour inside the tube which makes it easy to tell them apart when you own multiple shades.
The three new shades in the Clarins Beauty In Bloom Collection are; Pink Shimmer which is a petal pink shade, Orange Shimmer which is a peachy shade and Red Shimmer a dark pink shade. If you’ve never tried one of the Lip Perfectors you’re really missing out as they’re one of my favourite lip product formulas of all time with their balmy and smooth texture which not only adds a pretty shine and tint to the lips, they also nourish the lips with a lovely vanilla scent too.
There is nothing I don’t like about these balms, and £18 might sound a little pricey for a subtle tinted balmy gloss but they last for such a long time as they contain 12mls of loveliness and I can’t recommend them enough – both the permanent shades, and these three limited edition additions.
