Beauty boxes are such a divisive concept, with people either loving them or loathing them but I definitely love them, although I feel that there are some beauty boxes which aren’t worth subscribing too. The newest beauty box on my radar is the Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box which is a pretty exciting option in my opinion as it guarantees full sized products which is something I definitely prefer as samples can be quite boring, especially when some boxes like to include moisturiser samples every month. The boxes also include very well known brands, including high end brands so you won’t always receive random unknown brands and products like other boxes like to include.
The Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box is £35 per month, and the fee includes shipping via Royal Mail Tracked to ensure safe delivery of your box. Every month you will receive a box of surprise products which include well loved classics as well as new releases. If you don’t want the Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box, they also do a regular Beauty Box which is £18.99 but for me, the Deluxe option really is the star of the show especially when you see what’s inside the August box….
Kicking off the first product within the Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box is the Benefit Hervana Ultra Plush Lipgloss worth £14.50. This was the first product which caught my eye within the box as I love the Benefit Ultra Plush Lipglosses and I already own the Hoola gloss and the Dandelion gloss so I’m thrilled to add the Hervana gloss to my collection.
The Hervana shade is described as being a ‘berry pink’, and it’s a really pretty shade which would flatter all skintones with a slight shimmer which leaves the lips looking really shiny and plump. They’re not at all sticky, and I really like the squeezy tube as they’re easy to apply and the packaging is really cute.
The next product is the Too Faced La Creme Color Drenched Lip Cream in the shade Bumbleberry worth £18, and again I love these lipsticks and I already own three shades but I don’t have this particular shade which is great.
The packaging of these lipsticks is amazing, with a gorgeous gold weighty casing which twists up to reveal the lipstick which is extremely creamy, and comfortable on the lips as well as being very pigmented too. Bumbleberry looks like a deep berry in the tube, but it looks a little lighter on the lips and is more of a beautiful dark pink.
The Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm in Roly Poly Rosy is the next item, and is worth £19. The Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balms are twist up sticks with a creamy formula which you simply swipe on your cheeks and blend in with your fingertips or a brush. I already own this shade, and I reviewed it here but it’s such a pretty rosy pink colour which I think compliments the Too Faced lipstick perfectly.
Then we have two of the Elemis Pro-Collagen Hydra-Gel Eye Masks worth £15.83 as the full size box of six is £47.50. I am loving using eye masks at the moment as they really help to deal with any puffiness, and they’re lovely and soothing especially in the heat.
I haven’t tried very much from Elemis, but as they’re such a coveted brand I’ve wanted to try more of their products so these eye masks are ideal as they are formulated to instantly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with the power of Padina Pavonica and Chlorella, provides an instant skin-tightening effect, whilst Hyaluronic Acid hydrates the fragile eye area.
I’ve definitely saved the best til last in my opinion; the Giorgio Armani Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in the shade 5 Copper worth £19. I’m a really big fan of the Giorgio Armani makeup line so I couldn’t wait to try this pencil as the shade looked so pretty. The pencil is intensely creamy and pigmented, and is a very pretty pale copper look which gives a really brightened look when worn within the waterline. I’ve never tried any of the Giorgio Armani eyeliners before, but if this one’s anything to go by, I definitely need to try more as it’s so longwearing and easy to apply.
I don’t know if you can tell, but I am extremely impressed with my very first Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box especially when you consider the box’s contents are worth £86.33 which is amazing for £35 as it’s over double the value of the box. All of the products within the box are ones I’d use, and the shades are all perfect. I really can’t believe how good value the box is, I really can’t recommend it enough.
