September Lust List

I love creating a good wishlist as much as I love reading them, and I always find this time of year to be the most exciting with the pending Christmas and Winter collections begin to drop; it’s enough to make a beauty obsessive salivate at the mouth, so today’s post is my September Lust List although I imagine I’ll want to do another in a week’s time as there are so many amazing new launches right now. I’d love to know what products you’re currently lusting after so please let me know in the comments below…

September Lust List

1 – Illamasqua OMG Beyond Highlighter. How beautiful is this pillow-like highlighter? It’s a bit pricey in my opinion at £32, and I feel that Illamasqua are upping their prices at an alarming rate as I bought their Skin Base foundation for £27 four years ago, and now it’s £32.50 which is crazy. I’m not sure I will purchase this one, but I will admire it from afar as I can’t justify £32 when you could get two theBalm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighters for the same price.

2 – Emilio Luca X Ankle Boots. Now we are officially in September (just), I’m officially in mission autumn wardrobe mode and I’m on the hunt for some new ankle boots. I like chunky boots like these as they’re so much comfier than high heeled boots, or completely flat soled boots so the heel on these looks perfect. I really like the almost ruched appearance as they’ll go over the bottoms of jeans nicely which is definitely one of my go-to Autumn outfit choices.

3 – Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Dry Body Oil. Flowerbomb is my all time favourite fragrance and I’ve sadly ran out so I’m trying to hold out purchasing a replacement as I know the gift sets will hit the shops soon but I’m very tempted by this new release. It’s an amazing body oil which contains a precious blend of apricot, camellia and sweet almond oils chosen for their supreme softening and smoothing capabilities and it has a spray dispenser so you can lightly mist the oil over the body for a long lasting fragrance.

4J Brand Jeans. I only own black and various shades of blue when it comes to jeans, but there’s something about these skinny royal green jeans which I’ve fallen in love with. I love that they’re coloured jeans but they’re not too in your face, so they’ll be easy to wear with lots of different colours where you’d be limited with a bolder, brighter green shade of denim. I always like wearing skinny jeans as they’re so comfortable and they look nice when worn with pumps, boots or heels but these have golden zips on the sides which I think make them look even more unique than your standard pair of skinny jeans.

5 – Color Club Halo Hues Date with Density. I am obsessed with holographic anything, and I love nail polish so this holographic polish is what dreams are made from. It’s such a stunning purple shade loaded with multicoloured holographic shimmer and I need it in my life. I’ve only tried a couple of the Color Club polishes but I’ve always been so impressed with the formula so I feel they’re worth the price, especially with such a gorgeous shade.

6 – Too Faced Peanut and Jelly Eyeshadow Palette. I am so excited that Too Faced have finally restocked this palette as I’ve been gutted since it sold out as it looks like such a pretty, warm toned palette. The only downside are the extortionate shipping fees that Too Faced charge but I keep checking Sephora to see if they’ve restocked as their shipping fees are a lot more reasonable in comparison. I just wish it was being stocked in the UK but fingers crossed their holiday collection will be.

7 – Urban Decay Vice Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette. I have all of the Urban Decay Vice Palettes as they’re such amazing, versatile palettes which are always excellent value for money. The Vice Reloaded Palette contains 20 of their most famous shades from their last 20 years which is such a fun idea as it claims some real classics such as; Mildew, Laced, Midnight Cowboy and Moonflower. It’s a limited edition palette so it’ll sell out quickly, so I think I’ll have to move fast on this one.

8 – Skinnydip London Cosmo Case. Following on the holographic theme, I might have ordered this phone case yesterday from their website but I had to include it as I love it so much. The SkinnyDip London cases are fantastic quality and they last really well as I have around ten of them now and none of them are scratched or cracked. It’s such a pretty case, and I’m hoping it catches the light as much as it looks like it will.
