Sanctuary Spa Home Fragrance Collection

Sanctuary Spa are known for their extensive range bath and body range, but they’ve recently extended their Sanctuary Spa Home Fragrance Collection which consists of candles and fragrance diffusers, with brand new fragrances which are available on the Sanctuary website as well as Boots. From the new Sanctuary Spa Home Fragrance Collection, I have two items; the Sanctuary Spa Spiced Vanilla Candle £10 and the Sanctuary Fig & Black Amber Diffuser £16.

There are a range of new fragrances which are available in both the candle and diffuser format such as Driftwood and Sea Spray, Pink Grapefruit and Neroli, Black Rose and Cassis and Luxury Oud as examples. I think the new home fragrance collection is a lot more luxurious in comparison to their existing home fragrance line, and there’s something a little Jo Malone-esque with the scent combinations but like the rest of the Sanctuary range, their products are very affordable and make for great gift ideas.

Sanctuary Spa Spiced Vanilla Candle

The packaging of the candle really is beautiful, with the outer box featuring a mink and bronze colour scheme. The candle itself is white in colour, and contained within a weighty clear glass jar which you could definitely reuse once you’ve finished the candle.

The candle smells really lovely, but the throw isn’t particularly strong but I do love the fragrance nonetheless as I love anything vanilla scented, and it has somewhat of a festive vibe to it due to the spices. Due to the relatively neutral colour scheme, I think this would be a nice gift for both men and women and what’s more, the new fragrance collection are part of the Boots 3 for 2 Christmas gifts promotion.

I love a good reed diffuser as they give a subtle, constant fragrance over a longer period of time than a candle and you don’t have to worry about them like you do with candles. Just like the candle, the Diffuser is beautifully presented within a purple and silver box, with a large glass jar and pale wooden reeds.

The Fig & Black Amber fragrance is gorgeous and I would definitely consider buying the matching candle as I love it so much, as it’s slightly fruity but a little bit spicy too and ideal for the festive season. I’ve put the diffuser in my bedroom on my bedside table, and it makes the bedroom smell divine the minute you walk into it and I’ve not had to rotate the reeds yet, but I like that you can rejuvenate your diffuser by simply tipping the reeds upside down once the scent begins to fade.
