Back in April of this year, IT Cosmetics launched onto QVC UK which is such amazing news as they’re the only IT Cosmetics retailer within Europe. I’d always wanted to try IT Cosmetics as I’d heard such amazing things about the brand from US YouTubers/Bloggers but I didn’t really know where to begin so I decided to order the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer which I’ll be featuring on my blog very soon but spoiler alert; it’s amazing.
On the 19th of November the IT Cosmetics Christmas Collection will be launching onto QVC which is super exciting, and I have one of the products from the collection – the IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Matte Luxe Transforming Eyeshadow Palette which is £35 and includes a No Tug Dual Eyeshadow Brush too which is an incredible deal.
The IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Matte Luxe Transforming Eyeshadow Palette is packaged within a beautiful, pastel pink cardboard packaging which although is cardboard, manages to still feel a look a little luxe with the lid having a slightly rubberised texture.
The lid closes shut with a magnet, and opens to reveal a mirror within the lid and fifteen eyeshadows beautifully laid out on silver metallic card. The palette contains fourteen coloured eyeshadow shades, and one larger pan which is described as a ‘Transforming Pearl’ which can be used with any of the other shades to add radiance which I think is a really clever idea as you can change the appearance of every single shade in the palette.
IT Cosmetics say;
“The original lid-loving phenomenon! Discover your most naturally pretty eyes with this must-have palette—featuring all the universally flattering shades you need for day to night, no matter the occasion! Naturally Pretty™ includes 14 anti-aging shadows that, with a tap of the bonus Transforming Pearl shade, turn from matte to radiant pearl for endless eye-opening color combinations.
Developed with plastic surgeons and infused with hydrolyzed collagen, real silk, peptides and proprietary No-Tug Technology™, each talc-free shadow glides on beautifully to brighten your eyes and smooth your lids. Shades can be worn alone or mixed together, wet or dry, and as shadows or liners, making this the ideal palette for every IT Girl’s makeup collection!“
The Naturally Pretty Palette is one of IT Cosmetics’ best-selling products and following its massive popularity, they followed up with the Naturally Pretty Volume 2 – The Romantics Palette which fingers crossed will make it’s way onto QVC in the future as it’s equally beautiful.
I think £35 is a fantastic price for the IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Matte Luxe Transforming Eyeshadow Palette as it retails for $42(£33) in the US and it comes with a full size IT Cosmetics No Tug Dual Eyeshadow Brush which is worth $24/£19 so £35 for the two is incredible value and thus I anticipate that the set will sell out very quickly.

The shadows within the palette are exceptionally soft and silky, but even though they’re soft they’re not too soft that they crumble the minute you put your fingertip or brush into the pan. Each of these swatches are non-primed skin with a dry fingertip swirled two and half times around the pan and they all swatch beautifully with very little kick up in the pans.
Sometimes shadows can swatch well but when it comes to application on the lids, it’s a completely different story but all of the shadows apply as beautifully to the lids as they do onto the skin and they’re definitely one of the best matte shadow formulas I’ve ever tried. I’ve found that sometimes matte shadows can be a little too dry and dusty on application and cause a fallout situation on the cheeks, but after trying every single shade within the palette, I’ve only experienced a tiny amount of fallout with just one shade and that’s Java but even then the fallout has been very minimal.
I think £35 is a great price for the IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Matte Luxe Transforming Eyeshadow Palette alone even without the brush, but the fact it includes a full size dual ended brush is even better. The IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe No-Tug Dual Eyeshadow Brush comes in a little plastic tube which you could perhaps keep the brush inside to protect both ends of the brush when travelling.
One end of the brush is called the ‘All Over Brush’ which is for applying shadow all over the lids and/or browbones when using the brush on its side, and then you can turn the brush on its side to apply the crease shade in windshield-wiper motions. The opposite end of the brush is the ‘Smudge Brush’ which like the name suggests is for smudging shadows for a liner effect. Both ends of the brush are exceptionally soft, and the brush is incredibly well made with precision cut bristles.
I occasionally find that brushes which are included within palettes aren’t the best, however this particular brush is one you can choose to purchase separately and is a fantastic brush in its own right so to get it with the palette is such a great deal and it works very well with the matte shadows within the palette.
I’m sure you can tell by now how much I love this palette. I was tempted by the Urban Decay Ultimate Basics Palette but I’m not sure I’ll bother now as the shades within that palette are a little boring in my opinion as they’re the typical nudes you can get in any neutral palette.
The IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Matte Luxe Transforming Eyeshadow Palette however contains a selection of ‘typical’ neutrals but it also contains a beautiful range of very wearable shades which would flatter many skintones and the creaminess of the shadows would work for those with textured eyelids. I particularly love the whole Transforming Pearl concept as it allows you to wear the shadows two ways and I find myself reaching for this palette over any of my other eyeshadow palettes right now as the shades are so pretty and easy to apply/wear.
I’d love to know if you’ve ever tried anything from IT Cosmetics before? Do you have any product recommendations?
