Glossybox November 2016
The Glossybox November 2016 box’s theme is transformative quick fixes with the party season approaching to prep, prime and pamper with an added chocolate extra. Every month Glossybox give us a sneak peek at an item in the next box and last month Glossybox let us know that there was going to be a De Bruyere Beauté Jumbo Eye Pencil in the box so I was already looking forward to the box as I love eyeshadow pencils and I wasn’t disappointed as it’s a great box..
The first item in the box is a Ruby Professional Large Tapered Blending Brush worth £7. I’ve never heard of the Ruby brand before but this is a cruelty free blending brush with duo-fibre bristles, and in my opinion you can never have enough blending brushes so this is a welcome addition to my brush collection.
The next item is the 111Skin Bio Cellulose Facial Treatment Mask worth £20 which is ridiculous money for a one use mask but it’s described as a brightening, conditioning and stimulating sheet mask which is to be used for 20 minutes after cleansing. I do really like using sheet masks but I wouldn’t ever pay £20 for one but I’m looking forward to trying this when my skin needs a boost.
Then we have a 30ml size of the Nanogen Root Boost Hair Thickening Spray worth £2.99 and is described as a fine mist to instantly thicken and volumise the hair and contains strengthening keratin and soothing niacinamide to help care for the scalp.
I don’t need help in the thickening department as my hair is ridiculously big and wavy so I won’t use this as I’d end up resembling a lion but I’ll make sure to gift it to someone who will get use out of it. The next item is the De Bruyere Beauté Jumbo Eye Pencil in the shade Bubble 07 worth £13 and claims to have a long-lasting creamy formula. The shade is a pretty, taupey brown shade and one I’ll definitely get a lot of use from.
The last full size item in the Glossybox November 2016 box is a box of Wilkinson Sword Quattro Razors worth £5.69 and contains three razors which have a raspberry scented handle which is so strange – I don’t know why anyone would want a scented razor handle but alas they have raspberry handles. Razors are always helpful and these are particularly good as they have four razor blades for a super close shave. The last item in the box is a single Raffaello which is a nice touch especially as it doesn’t replace any products as we still got five products this month.
Overall I think the Glossybox November 2016 box a pretty good box, and it suits the theme well and I’ll use everything except the thickening spray. I’d love to know your thoughts on this month’s Glossybox?
