Look Incredible November Deluxe Beauty Box

I always look forward to seeing what products are inside the Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Boxes as I think they’re the best beauty box in the over £15 category as I’ve been so impressed with their past boxes. The Look Incredible November Deluxe Beauty Box arrived last week and it felt heavier than normal so I couldn’t wait to see what was inside the box, making it so heavy. If you’re new to the Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box, it’s a monthly beauty box which prides itself on higher end beauty products which are full size which is music to my ears, as I hate receiving perfume samples or tiny skin or haircare samples in beauty boxes as they’re not always big enough to be able to fully try a product.

 

The Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box is £35 and is guaranteed to not contain any travel sized/sample products and the value is always at least double the cost of the box. They also have a £18.99 box which again will contain full size products, but they won’t necessarily be as luxurious as those in the Deluxe Box.

The first item in this month’s box is a Marc Jacobs Nudes Sheer Gel Lipstick in the shade Anais worth £24. The Marc Jacobs Sheer Gel Lipsticks are described as breaking the mould of traditional nude lipstick with its innovative gellified formula that glides effortlessly over lips, laying down subtle shades with a sleek shine finish and contain velvet-like monoi butter, derived from the tropical Tiaré flower, delivers supreme moisture while nourishing myrrh extract and antioxidant Vitamin E fight signs of ageing.

I’ve never tried any of the Marc Jacobs lipsticks before so I was excited to see one in the box especially as I’ve heard such amazing things about their comfortable formula. Anais is a ‘Spiced Ginger’ according to Marc Jacobs and is a browny nude shade and is packaged within a super sleek, magnetic casing which looks and feels very luxurious.

The next item is one which I already own; the High Impact Brow Palette (reviewed here before they changed the name) £18.99. It is a rectangular, plastic palette containing four brow powder shades and an angled brush alongside a mirror within the lid. The shades are pretty warm in tone so they might not match everyone’s brows but you could always use the powders for eyeshadow or eyeliner should you not be able to use them for your brows.

The last makeup item within the Look Incredible November Deluxe Beauty Box is the NARS Duo Eyeshadow in the shade Star Sailor which is worth £25. I love NARS eyeshadows so I’m really happy to see one of their eyeshadow duos within the box, although this is a discontinued duo so you can’t physically purchase it today elsewhere.

The duo contains a light yellowy green, and a khaki green which isn’t something I would have chosen myself, but by getting the duo within the box I can give it a try and step out of my comfort zone. I love the name of this duo and it’s pretty amazing to get NARS in a beauty box!

Then we have a Spa Retreats Indulgence Softening Hand and Body Lotion worth £17.99 (although the price is quotes as being £8 on the Chemist Direct website). The lotion is scented with essential oils of Damask Rose and Rose Geranium, and contains Vitamin E and sweet almond oil to soften and smooth the skin. I always appreciate a pump dispenser on a lotion bottle, but I’m not a rose fan so I will probably give this to my rose-loving friend as I know she’d love it but the consistency seems really nice and nourishing.

The last item within the Look Incredible November Deluxe Beauty Box is my favourite and is the AHAVA Dead Sea Salt Softening Butter Salt Scrub worth £29 (Look Incredible have priced this as £16.99 on their card in the box but it’s actually £29 on the AHAVA website so it’s worth considerably more). I’ve tried a couple of AHAVA products and I really liked them and I absolutely love salt scrubs, and my skin is feeling so dry recently so this is perfectly timed.

Described as “An amazing melting texture butter salt scrub with a blend of natural Dead Sea salt crystals, plant oils, sugar, and Dunaliella algae delivering an authentic Dead Sea skin renewal . Gently exfoliates, softens, and revives tired skin recharging it with energy.” It smells so, so amazing and the consistency really is like a thick body butter with sugar granules and I can’t wait to try it as it smells and sounds fantastic.

Overall the Look Incredible November Deluxe Beauty Box is worth £104 this month which is amazing considering the box is just £35, and I really like their mix of makeup and bodycare products this month. My star items in the Look Incredible November Deluxe Beauty Box are definitely the Marc Jacobs Lipstick and the AHAVA Scrub but yet again, Look Incredible have curated a fabulous box! I can’t wait to see what’s instore in their Christmas box this month as I have no doubt it’ll be fantastic as they’re yet to put together a disappointing box (in my opinion).
