This winter the temperatures have been particularly low and have been playing havoc with my already dry and dehydrated skin so I’ve been reaching for all of the hydrating products in a bid to replace any lost moisture and make my skin feel as comfortable as possible.
B. is a Superdrug brand which stands for “B is for Beautiful” with a range of skincare which is divided into different categories according to age groups with Phase 1 being for those in their late twenties and thirties (me), Phase 2 for those in their late thirties, Phase 3 for those in their late forties and Phase 4 for those in their late fifties, sixties and beyond.
B Confident Hyaluronic Acid Spritz £7.99
I really like that B. offers different skincare for each phase as our skin has different needs as we age so it makes sense to use products which are best suited for our age but obviously you can use anything from any of the phases should you wish to. I know the whole age category concept doesn’t please everyone but I think it works well for those who are perhaps new to beauty with no idea where to start.
The B Confident Hyaluronic Acid Spritz is categorised within Phase 1 for those in their late twenties and thirties and is designed to rapidly replenish the skin and lock in moisture for 12 hours without clogging pores offering 12hrs of hydration and is packed with hyaluronic acid to moisturise deep down, boost skin’s radiance, promote a more healthy glow with regular use as well being the perfect pick me up for tired, fatigued skin. B. recommend spritzing the mist over cleansed skin or over makeup if skin is in need of a moisture boost.
The spray bottle contains 75ml of product which is clear in colour with a subtle skincare scent which doesn’t linger on the skin. Hyaluronic Acid is such a good skincare ingredient as it can hold upto 1000 times its weight in water thus helping to keep the skin moisturised, plump and refreshed.
I like to use the spritz after my primer rather than before as I find it makes my foundation a little dewier and radiant but I like that I can apply it at any point throughout the day for a skin refresh and the atomiser gives a lovely fine spray which doesn’t soak the face or smudge your makeup. I’ve seen people mention that the B Confident Hyaluronic Acid Spritz is a ‘dupe’ for the MAC Fix + Spray but I would say this spray is considerably more hydrating than Fix + and I like to use both to dampen my beauty sponges prior to foundation application.
I think £7.99 is a fantastic price for the B Confident Hyaluronic Acid Spritz as effective as this and I would even say it’s on par with my holy grail Clinique Moisture Surge Facial Spray except this Spritz is considerably cheaper and in a much more handbag friendly bottle. I would also recommend waiting for the B. range to have an offer on as they usually always have some sort of promotion running so if you can purchase this facial spray even cheaper, it would be even more of a worthwhile purchase and it’s a product I will no doubt repurchase once I run out.
Have you ever tried anything from the B. skincare range?
