I’m not entirely sure how it’s time for the Birchbox February 2017 box but sure enough it is and for this month’s Birchbox they’ve collaborated with Papier (a British Stationery company) for two different box designs. The box is in the drawer style that they’ve favoured for the last few months and my box has a green leafy print, but the other design is a darker coloured leaf designed box.
The first product in the box is the Keeome Hydration Therapy Mask which is described as being a full size Birchbox exclusive except it’s a little misleading because it’s not a full size product. The full size product is the six pack of masks which is £29, so this single mask cannot be purchased individually so it’s not a full size. It’s a Korean sheet mask which claims to revitalise the skin in minutes thanks to a hydrating blend of vital vitamins and mulberry extracts. I love using sheet masks so I’ll be looking forward to trying this as my skin’s very dry and dehydrated.
The next item is a full size Spectrum Collections Marbleous C06 Tulip Eye Contour Brush worth £5.99. I am happy to have another Spectrum Collections brush within the box but it’s a little repetitive as it’s the third time they’ve been in the box in the last twelve months (Feb 16 and May 16), but the brush feels like a good quality brush and I’ll definitely use it.
Then we have a 50ml sample size of the Beaver Daily Moisture Conditioning Spray which promises to detangle, nourish and inject moisture whilst being gentle on the hair. My hair is always super tangly when wet so I’m always on the hunt for detanglers that work and I like the smell of this one. From what I can gather this is a Birchbox exclusive brand so if you like the sample size, you should be able to purchase the full size from the Birchbox shop.
The next product is a trio of eyeshadows from Pop Beauty which are from the Pop Beauty Bright Up Your Life Eyeshadow Palette. I’ve tried a few Pop Beauty products before and I’ve liked what I’ve tried so I imagine this trio will be nice to use and I like that they included eyeshadows to use alongside the eyeshadow brush. The three shades include a champagne, a bronze and a dark brown which will flatter any skintone and eye colour.
The last item in the box is a 50ml size of the SHOW Beauty Dry Shampoo. I’ve heard so much about the SHOW Beauty brand but I can’t recall ever trying anything. The packaging is very luxurious and the scent is very strong and perfume-like rather than an hair product so hopefully it works well as I don’t tend to have the best results with dry shampoo. I think some other boxes got different products for this sample but from what I’ve seen on Instagram I’m really pleased I got this one.
So they are all of the products within this month’s box. I think it’s a good box this month overall and I like that there are two makeup based products as I love receiving makeup products in my beauty boxes.
