Look Incredible are without a doubt, my favourite beauty box company and the brand I recommend the most when asked which beauty box is my favourite. Look Incredible offer two different boxes each month; the Standard Box which is £18.99 and the Deluxe Box which is £35 and both boxes only ever contain full size products from reputable brands. Over the last few months, I’ve seen NARS, Too Faced, Tarte, Giorgio Armani, Japonesque, Laura Geller, Urban Decay and even Burberry within their boxes, just to give you an idea of the amazing brands they include. I’m always excited to receive the box and every month I declare that it’s the best box they’ve ever done, but no really the Look Incredible April Deluxe Box 2017 is their best box by far and will take some beating as the contents are worth £142. The April Standard Box is still available at the time of writing this post..
I uploaded a photo on my Instagram at lunchtime on Wednesday and the box had already sold out within a couple of hours which I know must be really annoying, so I’d highly recommend subscribing now for their May box as their boxes always sell out quickly. I know you can’t get this box but I still wanted to reveal the contents for those that are interested and to hopefully inspire you to subscribe to future boxes.
If you don’t subscribe without knowing the contents of the May box, keep an eye out for the sneak peeks on Instagram in early May so you can snap it up before it sells out. If you’d like to see the other Look Incredible boxes and their contents, I have a full rundown of my posts here so you can see what brands were included.
The first item in the Look Incredible April Deluxe Box 2017 is the Perricone MD Blue Plasma 59ml worth £79 (double the price of the box in just one product). I’ve never tried anything from Perricone MD before but everyone raves about their products so I’m excited to try this non-acidic daily peel as it claims to improve brightness and radiance by eliminating dead skin cells and rebalancing the skin’s hydration levels. It’s a once a day facial skincare treatment which sounds very effective from the reviews I’ve read online, with this bottle claiming to last for twelve weeks.
Then we have the Spa Retreats Indulgence Smoothing Body Scrub worth £12 which contains essential oils of Damask Rose and Rose Geranium. When I opened the box, I could smell a strong rose scent but couldn’t work out where it was coming from until I picked the tube up. I don’t even like rose scents, but this scrub smells so lovely and smells just like rose creams from rose and violet creams. It contains natural scrub particles from coconut shells which I’m pleased about, as I don’t like to use scrubs that contain microbeads as I know how harmful they are on the marine life.
Next up in the Look Incredible April Deluxe Box 2017 is the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner in the shade Navy worth £12. Eyeko is such a hyped brand for their mascaras and liners, and I’ve liked everything I’ve tried from the brand so far. I don’t think I’ve ever tried a navy liquid liner before, so this is the perfect oppurtunity for me to try something new that I’d never normally choose. It’s a felt tip style liner which feels quite firm, so hopefully it’s nice and easy to use.
The next product is the Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in the shade Delish worth £15. I love Tarte so much, so I was very excited to see one of Tarte’s more recent launches within the box, and everyone’s going crazy for matte liquid lipsticks right now. Delish is a ‘rosy nude’ according to Tarte which is a great shade description, and it’s insanely pigmented but I’ve only tried it on the back of my hand so far, but it dried within around five minutes and needed to be removed with an oil-based remover so I imagine it’ll be amazing on the lips in terms of longevity.
The final item in the Look Incredible April Deluxe Box 2017 is the one which excited me the most, although I have to say I loved the look of everything in the box this month. I got the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Slimlight in Champagne Pop worth £24 which is incredible, as Becca only launched the Slimlights a few months ago. I have a fair few versions of the Shimmering Skin Perfector range including Pressed, Poured and Liquid but I’ve never tried the Slimlight format, nor the Champagne Pop shade so I cannot wait to give it a try as it looks like a stunning shade for use as an highlighter or a cream eyeshadow.
