Glossybox June 2017
It’s time for the Glossybox June 2017 edit and I have to admit I was a little nervous for this month’s box as last month‘s really wasn’t their greatest in my opinion, and I usually find that Glossybox are the strongest under £15 beauty box. This month’s box doesn’t appear to have a solid theme according to the menu card within the box but I believe it’s around the idea of a “laid back” look and there are six products which I feel more than makes up for last month’s box and there’s an extract of Louise Pentland’s book as an additional extra.
Kicking things off we have a 5ml sample of the 111 Skin Space Defence Bright Eye Lift Gel worth £36.66 which is incredible value. Sometimes beauty boxes use brands we’ve never heard of and they typically have a high value but 111 Skin is such a massive brand and this is one of their bestselling products. Sadly the pump on my tube doesn’t work which is such a shame but the top does unscrew but you have to use the tube within the lid to scoop it out which will only work whilst it’s pretty full. It claims to reduce the appearance of dark circles, minimise puffiness and soften the appearance of fine lines while keeping the eye area hydrated. Fingers crossed nobody else’s tube is like mine…..
Then we have a 100ml size of the Eness Nourishing Hand Cream worth £6.50 which is a full size product and is enriched with natural Argan oil, Abyssinian Oil and Ylang Ylang Oil and I love using hand cream so I’m looking forward to trying it out.
The next item is another full size and is the Sleek MakeUP Power Plump Lip Crayon worth £5.50 in the shade Colossal Coral which is a shade I already own but it’s a gorgeous bright peachy coral shade. The formula is super comfortable on the lips and it fades nicely over a couple of hours and I think it’s a great shade for Summer.
We have another full size product in the box – the Batiste Stylist Shield My Locks Heat and Shine Spray worth £4.49. I’m not the biggest Batiste fan as I personally don’t like the scent of any of their products and I find their dry shampoos make my hair feel worse for using them which I know is crazy. This is a 2-in-1 heat protection and shine spray, protecting the hair upto 230c by spraying on dry hair prior to using hot tools.
Then we have the Manna Kadar Sheer Glo Illuminator in a 20ml size worth £22.55 which is another full sized product. This is a liquid illuminator which you use on bare skin or mix it with your foundation for a dewy finish and is suitable for all skin types.
The last item in the Glossybox June 2017 box is a sample of the Beauty Pro Black Diamond Black Peel Off Mask worth and contains activated charcoal to deep cleanse and balance oil. I can’t use peel off masks on my skin right now as it’s just so super sensitive but I imagine this is a super effective mask for instant results.
So they are all of the products in this month’s box and I really do think the Glossybox June 2017 is a fantastic box especially considering the value of the items is £77.65 which is amazing considering the box is only £13.25 per month and to get so many full size products too. I’d love to know your favourite product this month?
