If you love beauty boxes and you’re based in the UK, you need to be following Which Beauty Box UK‘s blog which is run by Jaina. Jaina features a massive selection of beauty boxes each month, and her photos are absolutely stunning. I was really excited when Jaina messaged me earlier this year to tell me she was creating her very own beauty box, as I can’t think of anyone better to create a beauty box than a beauty box obsessive.
The Which Beauty Box UK Summer Edit Box is £35 to purchase and the contents are worth a whopping £88.25 with a total of ten products, which includes free delivery too. I can’t even imagine how much time and effort goes into curating a beauty box, but Jaina has done a stellar job and I couldn’t wait to show you the contents…
The first product within the box is my personal favourite, the Alphabet Bags Ombré Stay Wonderful Cosmetic Bag worth £22. I’ve seen Alphabet Bags feature on Instagram many times but I’ve never owned one of their bags until now, and this is such a pretty bag. It is made from white canvas with a neon pink ombré design and a golden glitter font, and the inside of the bag is beautifully lined with a neon pink satin.
It’s such a great size too so it’ll be able to hold all of your makeup essentials, and it’s crazy to think that this bag is £22 to purchase individually yet for £13 more, you’re getting nine more products. Then we have a travel size of the Flamingo Candles Raspberry Sangria Soy Wax Candle worth £3.50. I really didn’t think I’d like this particular scent as I have so many bad embarrassing wine related memories but oh my gosh it smells incredible, and to me it smells more like raspberry sorbet and I’d definitely love the full size as it’s really lovely.
There are two products from the PHB Ethical Beauty brand which isn’t a brand I’ve come across before. Firstly we have the PHB Ethical Beauty Seaweed & Mint Skin Refresh Gel worth £13.75 which is an handmade specialised treatment gel to cool, soothe and heal skin ailments such as insect bites, sun exposure, heat rash and prickly heat.
The second product is a travel size of the PHB Ethical Beauty Brightening Body Lotion worth £3.95 which is made by hand using a rich blend of fruit & plant oils to enrich skin and enliven the senses, leaving skin soft and nourished with an uplifting blend of Neroli, Ylang Ylang and botanical oils.
Then we have the cutest addition to the Which Beauty Box UK Summer Edit Box; the Gifts By Little Miss Popsicle Bath Fizzy worth £3.50. How adorable is the packaging?! It’s in the Red Berry scent and it really does smell like Ribena, and you simply hold it under running water. Next up is the AA Skincare Green Tea and Aloe Soothing Cleansing Wipes worth £3.30, and are suitable for all skin types, and free from alcohol and perfume.
The next addition within the Which Beauty Box UK Summer Edit Box is the MAKE Feet Revive Lime, Lemon and Lavender Foot Cream worth £12 and contains avocado oil, apricot kernel oil and beeswax which help to combat hard skin and soften even the driest of feet as well as a blend of lime, lemon and lavender essential oils are deliciously refreshing as well as being antiseptic leaving the feet refreshed, soft and deliciously scented.
Then the Bloomtown Botanicals The Hedgerow Hand & Body Wash worth £12 which is packaged within a lovely eco-friendly glass bottle which will look super sleek in anyone’s bathroom. It’s a natural, organic Hand & Body Wash which is 100% free from palm oil, SLSs, parabens and synthetic detergents with notes of juicy blackberry and sweet honeysuckle, which is inspired by by the late summer scents of Cornwall.
Then we are on to the last two items within the box, with the first being the Danglefoot Atlantis Nail Varnish worth £6.50 which is a box exclusive shade. I love nail polish so I’m always happy to see them in beauty boxes, especially when they’re as pretty as this. It’s an indie creme teal with scattered holo, and is 5-free and it couldn’t be more perfect for Summer. You can purchase the polish on Jaina’s blog should you wish to get the polish without the beauty box which is fab.
The last item in the box is the Saturated Colour Make Me Matte Lipstick Mattifier worth £8. It’s a balm-like stick which you can apply over lip products to instantly mattify them which is such a cool concept and it’s cruelty free and vegan friendly too.
So they are all of the products within the Which Beauty Box UK Summer Edit Box, I’d love to know your thoughts in the comments below. Jaina very kindly gave me a 15% promo code should you wish to purchase the box which is GEMMAETC15.
