The theme for the Birchbox July 2017 box is ‘Summer Daze‘ and to match the theme, the box has the most gorgeous sunset design with palm trees and I think it has to be my favourite Birchbox design so far. The design was voted by Birchbox subscribers as the winning summer-style box design, and it really is a pretty box with a pastel blue drawer. For this month, Birchbox have included a sixth additional product so let’s see what’s included this month..
Every box this month will contain a Benefit Lip and Cheek Stain, and I got the Benefit GoGo Tint Bright Cherry Tinted Lip and Cheek Stain in a 2.5ml sample size worth £6.37. GoGo Tint is the newest Benefit Tint and is available to purchase from the Birchbox shop from the 29th of July. If you’re going on holiday, these tints are really good as they’re very longlasting for the cheeks and lips.
Every box will also receive a 30ml sample size of the BalanceMe Flash Cleanse Micellar Water worth £4.80. It’s a 99% natural cleansing water to remove makeup and impurities without having to rinse your face, and contains chamomile and regenerating neroli and mandarin oils to leave the skin glowing.
Then we have a 5g sample of the Origins Rituali Tea Feeling Rosy Comforting Powder Face Mask worth £3.55. It’s a powder mask enriched with antioxidant-rich South African Rooibos Tea & Rose which you have to mix with water and apply to clean skin, leave for ten minutes then massage off with wet fingers.
Next up is a 30ml sample of the Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Overnight Recovery worth £7.20. It’s a balm you apply to the hair before bed which preps and primes your hair in readiness for all styling products and techniques, which claims to give your hair moisture, shine, smoothness, definition, softness, light hold, high humidity protection and manageability.
Then we have a 30ml sample of the Anatomicals Softening Eucalyptus Foot Cream worth 90p.
The last item in the box is a 2ml English Laundry Oxford Blue Femme fragrance sample.
Overall the Birchbox July 2017 is not the best Birchbox I’ve seen, especially as every product this month is a sample, and small size samples too. The value of the items combined is £22.82 so it’s not the greatest value for money either sadly, but if you’ve been wanting to try any of these particular products you’ll perhaps be happy to try them within the box but for me the star of the box has to be the box design itself. Every month there appears to be an hand cream, body cream or foot cream so I’d love to see other products within the August box.
I’d really like to know your thoughts on this Birchbox July 2017?
