Soap and Glory are one of my favourite beauty brands so I’m always excited whenever they launch new products as they never disappoint, whether it’s makeup, skincare, bath or body, their products always deliver. When I received the Soap and Glory Mask Force Five Face Mask Collection through the post I made an audible squeak as I love face masks, and a new collection of five face masks is very exciting indeed.
Nearly every beauty box contains a sheet mask or face mask of one kind or another, as masking has become so popular. I really enjoy using masks, especially if they’re masks I can wear and do stuff whilst wearing one as I’m not very good at sitting/laying still for 20 minutes for masks which will slide off the minute you move.
Soap and Glory aren’t a brand to do things by halves by creating one or two new masks… no, they’ve released five new masks in their Soap and Glory Mask Force Five Face Mask Collection and they’re all under £4 so they’re a great budget friendly masking option – but you’re going to want to try them all…..
Soap and Glory Mask Force Five Soap and Glory Puffy Eye Attack Under-Eye Brightening Hydrogel Patches £3.50
“Soap & Glory Puffy Eye Attack Under-Eye Brightening Hydrogel Patches Our under-eye masks revitalise tired puffy eyes. Say goodb-eye to puffy, tired eyes with our dreamy under-eye patches.
With PUFFEASE™ technology (a tripeptide that reduces the appearance of puff) and super-naturally good ingredients including cucumber fruit juice and liquorice root extract, it’s the perfect perk-me-up for peepers! Smoothes, revitalises, brightens and moisturises while you rest and relax. It’s truly eye-mazing.”
How to use
1. Ensure skin is clean and dry before use.
2. Open the foil and remove the thin film.
3. Place the gel patch underneath the eye area. Remove the second thin film and gently pat down, allowing the jelly juice to infuse onto the skin.
4. Leave on for 20 -30 minutes – then just chill and relax.
5. To remove, gently peel off.
6. Massage in any remaining jelly to help it absorb into the skin. Do not rinse or clean face after use.
The patches are easy to put in place, and peel off the thin film on either side of the gel patch and they attach to the skin well so you can walk around for the 20-30 minutes. They feel amazingly soothing on the skin and would be amazing if they were in the fridge before use.
They didn’t feel very ‘wet’ compared to other eye patches I’ve tried, and I would prefer them to have a little more product as I like to be able to massage in any remaining product but I found there wasn’t any after I’d removed them. I noticed that they’d reduced puffiness, and my under eye area looked brightened but I think the other four masks within the collection were a little more impressive overall.
Soap and Glory Mask Force Five Face Mask Collection = Soap and Glory What A Peeling Purifying De-Clog Mask £4
“Soap & Glory What a Peeling!™ De-Clog Mask. Our peel off mask de-clogs pores and purifies the skin. Lift out gunk and remove that junk! A totally a-peeling mask that helps to remove dirt and impurities as you peel it off. Like any other super-hero, WHAT A PEELING!™ transforms itself – from pink liquid gel to a paper-like strip.
It’s absolutely cram-jam-packed with skin-loving ingredients including beauty powerhouse Vitamin C plus a stack of oil-absorbing smoothers. Our scentsational mask is fragranced with exotic tropical fruit and May Chang mood-boosting essential oil and is ideal for a problem T-zone. Get yourself some pink a-peel!”
How to use
Wash spatula in warm soapy water before use. Use one capsule per application.
1. Apply a thin, even layer onto clean dry skin, avoiding the eye area, hairline, eyebrows and lips.
2. Smooth over skin and focus in on problem areas prone to open pores, especially around the T-Zone, nose and chin.
3. Leave on for 20-25 minutes until completely dry, so you can peel off in one sheet. Whilst you’re waiting for it to dry, bake some cupcakes or make a pie!
4. PREPARE FOR LIFT OFF! This mask is tough on skin baddies so expect it to pull a bit as you reveal fresh-looking skin! Gently peel it off upwards from the chin to forehead.
5.Rinse off any excess with warm water.
This is the most pricey mask within the collection, but at £4 it’s still very affordable especially as you get two pods for two separate uses and a mini spatula for even application. This mask is a very bright pink colour, and it has quite a thick consistency making it a little messy to apply. The directions recommend using the mask on your problem areas so I used it on my chin, jawline, nose and forehead and avoided my dry patches.
The more even you apply the mask, the easier it is to peel off which I realised on my first try as it peeled off in tiny sections, but a thicker and more even layer meant I was able to pull it off in almost one go. It is amazingly effective at removing impurities but it’s also a little harsh for dry skin, so make sure you apply a generous layer of moisturiser once you’ve removed it. I think this mask would be ideal for those with oily skin as you could use it all over your face, and I’d recommend reading EmmyWritesAbout post as she has oilier skin.

How to use
1. Ensure skin is clean and dry before use.
2. Open the foil and carefully unfold mask.
3. Smooth over your face and gently pat down so the mask feels comfortably snug on your skin. Adjust to fit the contours of your face.
4. Leave for 15-20 mins – the perfect time to chill and relax. If you’ve had a heavy night, lie down quietly and everything will be all bright!
5. To remove, gently peel off and massage in any excess juice or use a cotton pad to wipe away.
This is a conventional sheet mask with a nice, refreshing and zesty scent. It felt comfortable on the skin, but it did begin to slip when I moved so it’s one for when you have 15 minutes to relax. I found this mask to be the most effective for my skin, as it really did have a brightening effect which was still visible the following morning. It didn’t feel overly hydrating nor did it feel drying, but it’d be the mask I’d go for before a special occasion when I want my skin to look radiant and fresh.

Specially formulated with COOL CAPSULE-SMOOTH™ – packed with cooling and soothing properties – it’s got a fabulous camomile and mint scent with natural sage and lemongrass oils. After all, we believe every girl is looking for instant mattification.”
How to use
1. Ensure skin is clean and dry before use.
2. Open the foil and carefully unfold mask.
3. Smooth over your face and gently pat down so the mask feels comfortably snug on your skin. Adjust to fit the contours of your face.
4. Leave for 15-20 mins – chill, relax or just carry on with your daily routine. A treat for your pores while you do the chores!
5. To remove, gently peel off and massage in any excess juice or use a cotton pad to wipe away.
This was the one mask from the collection which isn’t suitable for dry skin as it’s designed for oily skin as it offers clarifying effects and mattification of the skin. It smelt really fresh and herbal, and is a very damp sheet mask. Due to how dry and dehydrated my skin is, I only left this mask on my face for 10 minutes as I didn’t want it to be too stripping, but any inflammation of my skin was instantly reduced and my skin felt very clean after I’d removed it.

How to use
1. Ensure skin is clean and dry before use.
2. Open the foil and remove the thin film.
3. Place over the face, remove the second thin film. Smooth and gently pat down, allowing the jelly juice to infuse onto the skin.
4. Leave on for 20 -30 minutes then just chill and relax.
5. To remove, gently peel off.
6. Massage in any remaining jelly to help it absorb into the skin. Do not rinse or clean face after use.
This is my favourite mask from the Soap and Glory Mask Force Five, and is also quite unique as it’s a two piece gel mask, with one part covering from your nose to your forehead, and the other covering the mouth area and chin. It’s the wettest mask within the collection, and I really liked the serum which saturated the mask as I was able to massage in the excess. It feels so soothing and gentle on the skin, and it really did leave my skin feeling more hydrated, and I love the zesty orange scent.
The only slight downside is that because it’s a gel mask, it’s a bit fiddly to try and position with the eye holes and mouth hole and I felt like the eye holes were a little too small for my eyes so i had to snip a bit of the mask off to make a more comfortable fit but it’s a great mask nonetheless.
I would love to know if you’ve tried any of the Soap and Glory Mask Force Five Face Mask Collection? Which of the Soap and Glory Mask Force Five Face Mask Collection like the sound of the most?
