Summer Beauty Essentials

I know we’ve had a really crazy Summer here in the UK, but I wanted to share my Summer Beauty Essentials recommendations all of which are available to buy from the SimplyBe website. I have to be honest, I had absolutely no idea that SimplyBe even did beauty products, but they have actually have a really large range of brands including Burt’s Bees, Spectrum Collections, Clarins, Elegant Touch, ghd, Estée Lauder and many more. SimplyBe are perhaps best known for their stunning Occasion Wear and Plus Size Fashion pieces, but they have so much more. I was given the chance to choose my Summer Beauty Essentials from their website, so I could share the reasons why I chose them here on my blog.

First up we have the star of my post; the Spectrum Collections Siren 12 Piece Brush Set which I’ve been lusting after for the longest time, and I had no idea SimplyBe even stocked Spectrum brushes on their website. I have a few Spectrum Collections brushes which I’ve received in beauty boxes and I’ve loved their quality so I knew I needed one of their brush sets in my life.

Spectrum have so many amazing brush sets to choose from, but the Siren Collection had me hypnotised with its stunning holographic brush roll. I have an in-depth review coming up soon here on on my blog of this brush set but I thought it would be ideal for my summer essentials roundup. The brush roll keeps your brushes protected when travelling, and the set has every brush you could possibly need for your eye and face makeup, and it’ll fit nicely into your suitcase or bag if you’re jetting off on holiday, and they’re 100% cruelty free brushes too.

Next up is the Nivea You’re Beautiful Set which is only £20 and includes a really pretty blush pink tote bag, with a scalloped detail around the top. The picture on the website really doesn’t do the bag justice; it’s so much prettier than I expected it to be, and again it would be amazing as a carry on bag when going on holiday or as a beach bag and you get six Nivea beauty products too which is fantastic value.

The set includes; the Nivea Fresh Moisture Powerfruit Caring Shower Gel 250ml, Nivea Pearl & Beauty Antiperspirant Roll-On 25ml, Nivea Soft Cream 200ml, Nivea Daily Essentials Sensitive Caring Micellar Water 200ml, Nivea Daily Essentials Sensitive Day Cream 50ml, and Nivea Express Care Hand Cream 75ml. All of these products would be brilliant to take away on holiday too, so it’s practically all of your travel beauty essentials in one set.

No Summer Beauty Essentials post would be complete without some makeup picks, and I was surprised by how many different makeup products SimplyBe have to offer. The Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation is one of my go-to foundations in the summer as it has an SPF of 20, and gives a lovely luminous finish to the skin whilst feeling totally lightweight too.

For a lip colour, I’ve really been enjoying the Bourjois Rouge Edition Aqua Laque formula as it feels so watery and lightweight on the lips, like a juciy lip tint. For my lashes I’ve recently been using the Bourjois Push up Volume Glamour Mascara which gives my super short lashes some much needed volume and separation and I had to choose the Urban Decay Ink For Eyes Waterproof Precision Eyeliner which lasts amazingly even in the heat.
