I get through a lot of micellar water so I’m always on the look out for new ones to try which will remove my makeup quickly without leaving my skin feeling stripped and uncomfortable. My favourite micellar water is the Bioderma Hydrabio H2O but it is quite pricey so I do prefer to have some budget friendly options which I can use alongside my Bioderma. I have tried the B. Micellar Water previously but I didn’t love it as I felt like it left a film on my face, but I spotted the B Pure Micellar Water £4.49 on the Superdrug website which has the exact same name as the older version but it’s 50p cheaper and contains 250ml more product so I’m not entirely sure if it’s a new formula or a new product altogether.
Superdrug say;
“B Pure Micellar Water is quick and effective yet extremely gentle. Suitable for use on the delicate eye area. Cleanses – Removes impurities and makeup. Tones- Leaves skin purified and ready for moisturisation. Refreshes – with a gentle, soothing formulation.”
The B Pure Micellar Water is a good micellar water as far as micellar waters go. It’s gentle on the skin, removes makeup easily with very little effort and it actually has a softening effect on the skin which I really enjoy. I can’t recall a micellar water leaving my skin as soft as the B. Pure Micellar Water does, and I was impressed with the very first use.
I don’t detect a specific scent when using the water, and it doesn’t leave a film on my skin like the other B. Micellar Water which I’ve tried so I’m convinced that this is a new formula as I like it so much more. I think £4.49 for 400ml is such a great price, especially as Superdrug always run offers on their own brand skincare products, and I will definitely repurchase once I run out.
I’d love to know if you’ve tried the B. Skincare range?
