I’m not entirely sure where August went to be quite honest, but here we are in September so it’s time for the Glossybox September 2017 edit. I’ve always championed Glossybox as being the best beauty box under £15 but I have to admit the last few boxes have left me feeling a little flat, however they’re back to their former glory with this month’s box. It really does contain a cracking lineup which I imagine will be hard to hate especially as we all get a Kinder Bueno this month, and chocolate is always guaranteed to put a smile on my face.
First of all we have the Pixi Brow Tamer worth £12 (full size) which pays for the box itself which is amazing. I’m loving Pixi as a brand right now, and I really do rate their Natural Brow Duo so I’m excited that the clear brow gel was included within the box. It is infused with Aloe Vera and Panthenol, the fast-drying formula nourishes and conditions, whilst delivering soft hold to define and shape brows and is my favourite pick from this month’s box.
Next up we have a controversial one with the StyLondon Silligel Blender worth £5.99 (full size) as it’s quite the marmite product within the beauty community. It’s a silicone pebble essentially and is supposed to be used for the application of base products to minimise product wastage but I personally really dislike the silicone blender trend as it feels like I’m swiping a gel bra insert all over my face but it’ll be a fun way for subscribers to try one if they haven’t already.
The next product is the MONU Firming Fiji Facial Oil in a 30ml sample size worth £6.58 and is designed for dry/sensitive skin. It is described as being a soothing facial oil lovingly formulated to smooth and comfort the skin whilst preventing dehydration with a refreshing blend of Bois de Rose and Patchouli Essential Oils. I have super dry skin so oils work really well for my skin to try and recoup any lost moisture, especially as we head towards the cooler months.
Then the next item in the Glossybox September 2017 we have the Taylors 32 Natural Whitening Toothpaste worth £5. Taylors 32 toothpastes contain Mother Nature’s best cleaning compounds, powerful natural flavours, and antioxidant vitamin E, to help keep your teeth and gums healthy, naturally. I would never have considered a natural toothpaste to be quite honest, but my opinions were changed thanks to the Nano B Organic Natural Toothpaste so I’m looking forward to trying this one to see how it compares and it has really great reviews online too.
The final item in the Glossybox September 2017 aside from the Kinder Bueno is the SkinFix Eczema Hand Repair Cream in a 30ml sample size worth £4.33. This ultra rich hand cream claims to be effective at treating and managing eczema, dermatitis and dry, cracked skin conditions on the hands by creating a barrier on the skin to lock in moisture and keep irritants out. I don’t have eczema but it’s a nice and hydrating hand cream which I’ll use before bed as it does take a while to absorb due to how rich it is. (Glossybox quote that this is full size on the menu card and the picture shows 90ml on the bottle which is very misleading as the tube only contains 30mls and is a sample size and not the full size they’ve quoted so please don’t think you’re getting the £12.99 full size as you’re not – not seen anyone else mention this but I couldn’t not 🙂)
So they are all of the items within the Glossybox September 2017 box. I’d love to know what your favourite item is? I really think this is one of Glossybox’s better boxes, and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s inside the October box. PLUS if you’re a new subscriber and you choose to subscribe to this month’s fabulous box, you’ll get the September box for just £7 with the code SEPTEMBER7 by subscribing HERE.
