I love Soap and Glory and have done since their launch in 2006 as I worked in Boots at the time and it was a massive launch back then, and they’re bigger than ever with their bath, body, skin and makeup products. The Soap and Glory Instagram account is one of my favourite brand accounts to follow because I love to see sneak peeks into which products are coming.
When they revealed their new range of beauty bags, I knew I needed one as my current Ted Baker makeup bag is looking a little tired so it was definitely time for an upgrade with the Soap and Glory Glam on the Go Bag £10.
There are a total of five different beauty bags to choose from with the Soap and Glory Glam on the Go Bag being the smallest and the Soaper Store All Bag £20 is the largest with bags for makeup, skincare and toiletries for travel. I really love the look of the Triple Glammy Bag Set £16 which is a beauty bag equivalent of a Russian doll with three different sized bags.
The Soap and Glory Glam on the Go Bag might be the smallest bag within the collection but it’s not particularly small as it can hold all of my handbag makeup essentials and a mirror so I think £10 is a pretty great price. The bag has a matte black base which is genius as it doesn’t show marks or scuffs, but the top two thirds of the bag are a gorgeous metallic pink colour with black and white glitter stars dotted all over alongside a black and white rockabilly-inspired photo. The black and white image might not appeal to everyone but I like it as the rest of the Soap and Glory range feature black and white images, but there are bags within the collection which don’t have a black and white image if you preferred one without.
Not only is the bag gorgeous on the outside, it also contains a beauty related quote too with mine including “Makeup, Show up but never give up” which is a nice added touch. I’m sorry to drop the C word but I really do think these bags would make for perfect Christmas presents, especially if you were to include a couple of your favourite Soap and Glory makeup products inside to make it a little more personal. Without throwing shade at Boots, they have a makeup bag which they sell for £10 and it looks/feels very cheap in comparison so I really think this £10 Soap and Glory Glam on the Go bag is a great little budget friendly option.
I’d love to know your thoughts on the new Soap and Glory beauty bags?
