Vichy Minéral 89 Skin Booster

Vichy Minéral 89 Skin Booster

I have raved about Vichy countless times here on my blog as they’re one of my favourite skincare brands and I love that they’re constantly launching new products. If I had to choose just one skincare product I could use forever it’d be the Vichy Normaderm Hyaluspot which is the best spot treatment I’ve ever tried, and the product I recommend the most whenever I’ve asked about my favourite beauty products. The Vichy Minéral 89 Skin Booster 50ml £22 is their newest skincare launch and is described as being a new generation of face moisturiser and skin booster, and I’ve been lucky enough to have the oppurtunity to trial an exclusive pre series bottle so you’ll get a beautiful blue ombré bottle if you were to purchase the Vichy Minéral 89 Skin Booster yourself.

Vichy say;

“Discover a new generation of face moisturiser, combining 15 Mineral Rich Water with Hyaluronic Acid to fortify skin and make it more resistant to visible ageing caused by pollution, stress to skin, and fatigue. Minéral 89 face moisturiser, with 89% Mineralizing Thermal Water, delivers a boost of hydration for a vibrant, healthy glow. Its moisturising formula boosts hydration to replenish the skin’s moisture barrier.

As a result, skin feels more hydrated, plumped, and toned. Day after day, skin radiates with a healthy glow. A lightweight, fast-absorbing 100% transparent face moisturiser. Absorbs quickly into skin leaving it feeling comfortable, softer and hydrated. Non-greasy. Non-sticky. Non-shiny. Fragrance free. Oil-fee.“

Vichy Minéral 89 Skin Booster

The Vichy Minéral 89 Skin Booster has an extremely watery consistency which feels like a serum with a little going a very long way. The amount shown in the photo above is enough for two applications of the face and neck. The Vichy Aqualia Serum is my favourite serum as it’s intensely hydrating and feels like a drink for my dehydrated skin but the Minéral 89 Skin Booster feels even more hydrating which I didn’t think was possible but it spreads over the skin almost like water with very little effort.

It doesn’t feel at all sticky, greasy or shiny on the skin so it works well under makeup and I like to use it layered over my serum as an hydration booster as it doesn’t make my primer ball up when applied over the top. My skin feels more hydrated, softened and plumped and I like knowing that it’s protected against pollution and external aggressors and I really do recommend giving it a try if you have dry and/or dehydrated skin in time for winter.

Have you ever tried any Vichy products? Do you have a favourite product?
