Feral Cosmetics Liquid Matte Lipsticks and Ultra Satin Lipsticks

I love discovering new beauty brands so when I heard that Beauty Chamber was introducing an exciting new to the UK brand; Feral Cosmetics, I was very excited especially after looking at reviews and swatches online. Feral Cosmetics is a Los Angeles based, cruelty free and vegan beauty brand which currently just has two ranges of lip products; Liquid Matte Lipsticks £14.95 and Ultra Satin Lipsticks £14.95 which are both stocked by Beauty Chamber and I’ve got full swatches for you. Feral Cosmetics have proud brand values about giving back;

We stand strong with selfless charitable organizations: Women, Children, animals and other causes. It is our dream to continue supporting our community and environment. Which organization should we support next? Love to hear from you and help us to support some of the most amazing causes.

The Feral Cosmetics Ultra Satin Lipsticks are packaged within weighty, silver aluminium casing with a magnetic closure which make them feel a lot more luxurious than their £14.95 price tag. There are five shades in total, all of which I’ve swatched above for you but they’re extremely opaque lipsticks which I didn’t expect from a satin formula and they have a strong vanilla scent.

I typically find satin lipsticks to be on the sheerer side, but there’s nothing sheer about these lipsticks whatsoever. They are very smooth and creamy, and glide across the lips without dragging and are opaque in just two swipes, although Rose By Goar is opaque in just one.

Euphoric is the shade of lipstick I’d expect a unicorn to wear if they existed, and of course wore lipstick. It’s a pastel cool toned lilac shade which really isn’t done justice in my swatch as my skin’s very cool toned, but Feral Cosmetics have great lip swatches here if you’d like to see what it looks like on the lips.

Rose By Goar is a slightly different name but it was exclusively designed and developed in collaboration with the World Famous Goar Avetisyan. She developed this color for herself and for her to use on brides, and is the perfect blush pink which would flatter all skintones. This is my standout shade from the range as it’s so flattering and easy to wear as it complements any makeup look.

Envy is the perfect blue toned statement red which every girl needs within their makeup collection for when they want to rock a red lip. It’s not particularly unique, but the formula makes it a winner because it’s super comfortable on the lips and doesn’t transfer massively during wear.

Fetish is a beautiful pinky coral and it reminds me of the MAC Full Speed Lipstick. I love pinky coral lip shades so this is right up my street and is such a pretty summery shade.

Rapture is an intense browny toned red which is very autumnal. It’s the least forgiving shade from the range in that you need to have prepped your lips prior to application but it’s worth the effort as it’s such a dramatic shade.

The Feral Cosmetics Liquid Matte Lipsticks have clear plastic tubes with silver metallic lids and a doefoot applicator, with a strong vanilla scent just like the Ultra Satin Lipsticks. Feral Cosmetics describe the formula as being creamy, smooth, fully opaque and they dry completely matte with a lightweight, touch-proof finish.

Everyone is obsessed with liquid lipsticks right now, and if you love a good liquid lipstick this is such an amazing formula and well worth a try. They are strangely very thin in consistency, so much so the first one I tried I thought was gone off as it’s almost as if it’s a gloss as it is so thin.

They’re very easy to spread across the lips with the doefoot and all the shades except Lustful are opaque in just one swipe. Lustful is on the patchy side which is odd as the other four are just flawless, but Lustful needs to be applied in two thin coats allowing each to dry, which minimises any potential patchiness unless you use a lipliner underneath, as you’ll only need one.

I’m a nude lip kinda girl so I’m living for the three nude shades as they’re amazing, but I’m not the biggest fan of Lustful on my skintone as I think it’s perhaps better suited for medium to deeper skintones.

Butt Naked is a browny toned nude.

Mauve Along is a pinky toned nude.

Beach Bum is a mauvey toned nude.

Paint Me Pink is a bright fuchsia pink.

Lustful is a dark browny orange toned red.

So they are all of the Feral Cosmetics Liquid Matte Lipsticks and Ultra Satin Lipsticks swatched for you. If you fancy treating yourself to some of the shades, head to Beauty Chamber as they’re the exclusive European stockist and I think both formulas are very impressive for £14.95 each. I’d love to know which shade is your favourite? Have you ever tried Feral Cosmetics before?
