Giorgio Armani Halloween Makeup Picks

Giorgio Armani Halloween Makeup Picks

I love everything Giorgio Armani; their skincare, their fragrances and their makeup, and I’ve featured a considerable amount of their products here on my blog over the last five years. I was kindly sent a selection of Giorgio Armani Halloween Makeup Picks which have been chosen by Armani’s International Face Designer; Linda Cantello, to create the perfect Glam’o’ween makeup look, alongside the brand new limited edition Halloween Lip Magnet in the shade 605. I’ve never really enjoyed getting dressed up in fancy dress costumes for Halloween, I’d much rather get glammed up and admire those that have better creativity than myself.

I already own the Giorgio Armani Maestro UV Makeup Primer which is what I’d use to prep my skin as it’s lightweight and smoothing with protective properties. For the foundation, Linda Cantello chose the Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Longwear High Cover Foundation which I reviewed in full on my blog back in March.

The Power Fabric Foundation has high coverage whilst looking and feeling lightweight and natural on the skin. It dries down to a matte finish and I prefer to apply it with my Beauty Blender to give a slightly more dewy effect, but I do have to blend this shade (Shade 2) with a white foundation mixer prior to application as it’s too dark and too warm toned for my skintone.

I’ve never tried any concealers from the Armani Beauty range, so I couldn’t wait to try this Giorgio Armani High Precision Retouch Concealer £28 which is available in a total of five shades. It’s packaged within a black plastic tube, with a very thin brush applicator which I use to ‘draw’ a triangle under both of my eyes and blend out with my Beauty Blender.

Giorgio Armani describe the concealer as being a radiance-enhancing concealer to help hide imperfections and brighten the complexion, and is specifically formulated to target dark circles, shadows and blemishes. It is infused with light-reflecting particles and vitamin E, the hydrating formula diffuses light for optimal results and more radiant skin. The concealer has a very hydrating formula which looks so dewy on the skin, which works well with the matte finish of the Power Fabric Foundation.

I’ve tried the Black Ecstasy Mascara and I loved it, so I couldn’t wait to try the Giorgio Armani Eccentrico Mascara £28 especially as it’s an Image Beauty Awards Winner. Described as an high volume, long-wear mascara that provides precise separation of the lashes with a buildable result depending on the desired makeup look with a new patented elastomer brush which provides striking volume and lash definition for a beautiful flake-fee and clump-free result. I really like the helter-skelter design of the bristles as they really coat the lashes when you twist the brush as you pull it through your lashes.

This is such a fantastic mascara, and I’ve been wowed from the very first try which never happens for me with mascara as they usually take a couple of weeks to reach their full potential. It is absolutely buildable, and I could easily apply three coats without reaching spider leg status, and it doesn’t clump, flake or smudge and it leaves my lashes feeling soft and flexible during wear too.

When I got the Giorgio Armani Halloween Makeup Picks, there was one product in particular which caught my eye and that was this Giorgio Armani Eye Tint £28 in the shade 2 Minuit which is the most incredible shade. It has a deep navy matte base with navy metallic shimmer particles which looks so beautiful when applied both sheerly to the lids, or when built up. I have never really tried blues on my eyes before but this looks so pretty on the lids and is a nice twist on a smokey eye. The Eye Tints are said to combine the purity of a powder, staying power of ink and the feel of cream for 16-hours of staying power and is available in a total of 16 shades.

The last eye product within the Giorgio Armani Halloween Makeup Picks is the Giorgio Armani Eye & Brow Maestro £28 in the shade 2 Wenge Wood, which I featured within my Armani Beauty Brow Collection round up. The Eye & Brow Maestro is a 3 in 1 product and can be used as an eyebrow pencil, an eyeshadow and an eyeliner but it can even be used as a face contour depending on the shade as there are 11+ shades. Wenge Wood is a great match for my brows as it’s a cool toned matte taupe/brown, but it’s also a stunning eyeshadow and eyeliner shade too as it’s waterproof.

To coincide with Halloween, Giorgio Armani have launched a collection of new shades for their Giorgio Armani Halloween Makeup Picks including nudes and Halloween darks and I have the shade 605 Decadent in Chestnut which is limited edition and is a very dark berry shade which couldn’t be more perfect for Autumn/Winter.

In the tube the shade looks like a true brown, but it’s actually a very deep purple berry shade which is very intense and it stains the lips too which extends the weartime even further with at least six hours before touch-ups are needed which is so rare for a deep shade like this. I did a full, indepth review on the Giorgio Armani Lip Magnets previously on my blog but the formula is fantastic and one of the best liquid lipstick formulas I’ve ever tried, and Decadent in Chestnut will make any makeup look, look vampy and Glam’o’ween appropriate.

Have you tried any of the Giorgio Armani Halloween Makeup Picks?
