Glossybox November 2017

Glossybox November 2017

November and December always tends to be the best months for beauty boxes so I’m always excited to see which items made the cut. The Glossybox November 2017 is supposedly a paired back edit to prepare us for a colourful Christmas, but I can’t help thinking a paired back edit would be more appropriate for January when beauty boxes do the whole detox and natural product thing as the contents don’t really fit with November. The Glossybox November 2017 edit isn’t their best box in my opinion, but read on to find out which products were in my box..

Glossybox November 2017

The first item is the Boots Ingredients Charcoal & Willow Bark Sheet Face Mask worth £2.50 which is a cleansing and purifying one use mask. This is my favourite item in the box as I love using sheet masks, but I don’t know if the masks will differ from box to box as this one is perhaps designed for those with oily/combination skin. I didn’t even know that Boots had launched their own range of sheet masks, so I’ll definitely have to look into the other types.

Next up is the Collection Define & Perfect Eyebrow Powder worth £4.19 in the shade Blonde which isn’t ideal as I have dark brunette hair, so hopefully you’ll get a shade you can use. It’s a sponge applicator which is flexible and covered in brow powder to add colour and definition to the brows.

The next item is from Beauty UK and is a makeup brush worth £6.99. I had no idea that Beauty UK even did makeup brushes, but it’s a really soft and fluffy brush which will work nicely for powder, blush or contour.

Sport FX feature again this month with their Candy Floss Moisturising Lip Balm worth £4.99 and is said to contain shea butter, vitamins C, E and F. I’m not a fan of this brand personally, and I’m unsure why they’ve been repeated multiple times as their products haven’t been amazing in my opinion.

The last item in the box is the Greenfog Botanic Natural Body Wash in a 100ml travel size worth £3.95. The bodywash is scented with relaxing geranium and peppermint, and is enriched with revitalising organic aloe vera. I really don’t like the smell of this sadly, but it does sound like a nice formula it’s just the geranium scent I don’t like.

So that’s everything in the Glossybox November 2017 edit. In my opinion it’s not half as good as last month’s box which was a lot more impressive. I’d love to know your thoughts on this month’s box? You can subscribe here.
