MUA Rusted Wonders Eyeshadow Palette
MUA appear to be on a roll right now with their new launches, and they recently introduced a range of six pan eyeshadow palettes. MUA were known for their basic twelve pan palettes, but I like that they’re now introducing new palettes and when I spotted the MUA Rusted Wonders Eyeshadow Palette I knew I had to buy it as it was only £3.50.
The packaging of the MUA 6 Shade Eyeshadow Palettes is so sleek and similar to the MAC concealer palettes with six rectangular pans within a black plastic compact, with a clear lid. It’s relatively compact yet the eyeshadows are a decent size at 1.3g each and there are currently eight different palettes to choose from.
I really love warm toned eyeshadows so the MUA Rusted Wonders Eyeshadow Palette stood out the most as the one I knew I had to try. The eyeshadows within this palette are described as being ‘pearl’ shadows, and all six shades are shimmery metallic shades with the last three shades in the palette having a foiled finish which I really didn’t expect.
The first three shades are a little boring in comparison to the last three shades, but they work well as base shades to use alongside the copper, red and brown foiled shades. They’re all very smooth and soft, and can be applied with a dampened brush for a more intense foil effect too.
It’s such a beautiful palette for £3.50 and I definitely need the Scorched Marvels Palette which MUA have just launched, as the warm matte shades would complement this palette perfectly and as there aren’t any mattes within this palette, I do need to reach for other palettes to get a complete look. I do already own the MUA Natural Essentials Palette too, which is fab dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette and I’ll make sure I feature it on the blog very soon with swatches but they’re fantastic palettes especially for only being £3.50 each.
I’d love to know if you’ve tried any of the MUA 6 Shade Eyeshadow Palettes?
