If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you’ll perhaps be bored of me mentioning my sleep issues. I’ve had insomnia since I was 14 and over the years I’ve tried endless pillow sprays but very few actually help so I hate to think how much money I’ve wasted on ineffective pillow sprays. REN have just launched their own version of a pillow spray and I couldn’t wait to try it. The REN & Now To Sleep Pillow Spray 75ml £18 is designed to be your very last step before bed, by lightly misting it over your pillow to help you get the ‘perfect beauty sleep’ as it will gradually release its scent throughout the night.
The REN & Now To Sleep Pillow Spray contains an unique blend of essential oils to help with natural sleep balance, with calming frankincense and lavender balanced with sleep inducing hops help to calm a busy mind and induce a relaxed state. Whilst Lavender eases tension in the body and mind. The scent is really lovely and I like that it’s not just a lavender scent, as the frankincense adds a little warmth and makes it more unique than your typical lavender pillow mist, and I can always still smell it on my pillow in the morning. Pillow sprays always leave my hair scented so it’s essential that my pillow sprays smell great as some lavender miss can smell a little musty, but this spray is the nicest smelling pillow spray I’ve tried and it definitely relaxes me.
Alongside using the new pillow spray, REN recommend using their ‘Sleep Peaceful Skincare’ routine with a trio of their skincare products (REN No 1 Purity Cleansing Balm, REN Revitalising Night Cream and REN Wake Wonderful Night Time Facial) as well as doing a pressure point message from between the eyes upto the forehead. The pressure point between your eyes is said to aid in hormone balance and detoxification, above your eyebrows is an uplifting pressure point whilst the hairline pressure points help with relaxation.
If you’re in the market for an effective pillow mist which will instantly relax you this is a great option and it’s definitely the best smelling pillow spray I’ve tried…
