I love Barry M and have done ever since I first discovered them at 14 when I became obsessed with their Dazzle Dusts. Whenever I want to purchase Barry M products I always go to Boots or Superdrug, but did you know you could get Barry M from Argos?! I definitely didn’t but Argos have a great range of the Barry M Christmas Gift Sets which you wouldn’t be able to purchase from Boots/Superdrug, and they really are fantastic sets. I have two of the Barry M Christmas Gift Sets on offer; one of which is under £6 and the other is £12 which is super affordable and they’re packaged really nicely too.

Barry M Get Matchy Lip and Nail Kit £5.99
This is a duo set containing the Barry M Matte Me Up Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade On the Scene and a Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in the shade Peanut Butter. They are both existing shades and would cost £8.98 to purchase individually so this set offers a nice saving whilst being packaged in a cute, very giftable box.
I love that this set includes two very wearable peachy brown shades which are very universally flattering, rather than a red or bolder shade as I feel like these shades are easy to wear. The Matte Me Up Matte Liquid Lipsticks have a pretty thin consistency but somehow they still manage to offer full opacity in just a couple of swipes of the doefoot applicator.
On the Scene is a really pretty shade which does dry down a little darker than the colour in the tube but I like to wear it layered over a pink lip liner such as the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Cheat Liner which makes On the Scene more peach than brown, and it’s such a great everyday shade. I’m not a fan of the Barry M Gelly Nail Paints as I find them to be really gloopy and difficult to apply but this shade is so pretty so it’s worth the extra time and effort for application. I did however add a few drops of the Mavala Nail Polish Thinner which I swear by when using the Gelly Nail Paints.
Barry M Liquid Lustre Molten Metals Set £10.99
The Barry M Molten Metals Nail Paints are one of my favourite metallic nail polish formulas so I cannot recommend this nail polish set enough. It comes in a really nice navy box with holographic stars all over it, and it contains four full size polishes from the Molten Metals collection which are normally £3.99 each so the contents of this set are worth £15.96 so again it’s another great value set. There are currently nine different Molten Metal Nail Paint shades, and this set contains; Pink Ice, Blue Glacier, Holographic Lights and Copper Mine which are all stunning shades.
I’d love to know if you’ve tried any of these Barry M Christmas Gift Sets? Do you have a favourite Barry M makeup product?
