Cult Beauty Christmas Gift Guide

Cult Beauty Christmas Gift Guide

We are officially on countdown to Christmas, and I am loving all of the festive blog content everyone is doing right now. Today’s post is the most exciting post I’ve written this year so far and it’s a Cult Beauty Christmas Gift Guide. Typically I focus on individual posts for Christmas gift offerings so I can really go into detail for each product but last year I did a standalone online retailer gift guide which proved to be really popular so for this year I knew I wanted my one store gift guide to be Cult Beauty. I even remember by very first Cult Beauty order in 2013 where I purchased the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lavish Eyeshadow Palette and Covet Eyeliner Set, and I’ve placed many orders ever since and I’ve only ever had amazing customer service.

Cult Beauty have introduced so many amazing brands to their website over the last year, and I even have their ‘new makeup‘ section bookmarked in my favourites so I can keep an eye on their new launches. My Cult Beauty Christmas Gift Guide contains so many amazing products and gift ideas which I know any beauty lover would be thrilled to receive from brands such as Huda Beauty, Sol de Janeiro, NEOM, Iconic London, Jouer and more…

Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Beauty Voyage £31

I absolutely love the Sol de Janeiro range and have already raved about the Bum Bum Cream, Lip Balm and Shower Cream-Gel on my blog back in September. They are a very hyped brand within the beauty community but for good reason. The Bum Bum Cream is the nicest body lotion I have tried and it smells incredible, plus when used alongside the matching shower gel, it leaves my skin smelling incredible for hours.

This adorable set contains a 75ml size of the cult favourite Brazilian Bum Bum Cream and a 90ml size of the Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist which I’d never tried until now but oh my gosh it’s good. The packaging on this set is so cute with a travel sticker inspired design with a little handle like a miniature suitcase. If you’ve not tried the Sol de Janeiro products before and you love, sweet gourmand fragrances, you really need to jump on the bum bum bandwagon…

Jouer Cosmetics Best of Nudes Lip Creme Collection £30

For Christmas 2017, Jouer has launched a selection of giftsets containing miniature sizes of their lip products and highlighters which is such an amazing idea as they give you the oppurtunity to try multiple shades in a miniature form. I don’t know about you, but I never finish highlighters or lip products as I own so many and always try and rotate my makeup so miniature sizes are just perfect.

From the four Jouer Best of Collection Sets, my favourite is the Best of Nudes Lip Creme Collection so I had to include it within my Cult Beauty Christmas Gift Guide as I love a nude lip and I’ve heard such amazing things about the Jouer lip cremes.

This particular set contains eight shades of the Jouer Lip Cremes in 2ml tubes which are minis but they’re not tiny so this is such a great value set considering a full size lip creme is £15 and contains 6ml of product, so this set contains £40 of product for £30 which is fantastic.

Nude lip colours are my favourite so this set couldn’t be more perfect for me and this set contains the following shades; Naked, Bare, Terra, Dulce de Leche, Papaya, Rayanne, Rosé and Tawny Rose. The set includes a mixture of finishes too with mattes and metallic shades, and I’d wear every single shade in this set as they’re all so amazingly beautiful.

NEOM Christmas Wish Candle £30

This is a somewhat of a curveball amongst my beauty picks, but a special one nonetheless. If you’ve never tried NEOM candles, you’re absolutely missing out as they’re stunning with a excellent throw so they scent the whole floor of the house. Every single year, NEOM launch the Christmas Wish candle in different packaging and this year’s packaging is my favourite as the jar has the prettiest rose gold Victorian-inspired street design which has cut out designs for the different floors of the houses which will look like the houses have their lights on. NEOM Candles are made from 100% hand poured natural vegetable wax and Christmas Wish contains mandarin, cinnamon and tonka bean plus 11 other essential oils for the soothing, traditional scent of Christmas.

By Terry Preciosity Ombre Blackstar Gift Set Collection £69

I have only ever tried a tiny sample of the By Terry Baume de Rose Lip Balm, but I’ve been dying to try more from the brand. The By Terry Ombre Blackstar Cream Eyeshadow Sticks have been on my wishlist for the longest time and this set is such a great deal as it contains three full sizes which would cost £87 to purchase individually.

The three Tahitian black pearl extract enriched shades within this set are Blonde Opal (muted gold), Bronze Moon (rich shimmering copper-cocoa) and Misty Rock (metallic mauve) which are all shades within their permanent shade range. I definitely plan on dedicating a whole post to them as they’re the prettiest cream eyeshadow sticks I’ve tried, and I will definitely be purchasing Ombre Mercure and Frozen Quartz next.

Nails Inc Wishes & Kisses Gift Set £29

I always find nail polish sets to be safe gift ideas as everyone has nails, and who doesn’t what pretty nails?! This set was so perfect for my Cult Beauty Christmas Gift Guide as it contains four full size Nails Inc Nail Polishes in a pretty, gold star shaped gift box which will be a nightmare to wrap admittedly, but it’s a stunning box regardless. The set includes Belsize Road (gold glitter topcoat), Life Hack (light rose pink), Status Ready (rich rouge noir) and Glow On and Get It (metallic pink silver).

Huda Beauty Mini Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette £25

Huda Beauty has to be one of the most buzzed about beauty brands this year, especially with the launch of the Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette and collection of Mini Obsessions Eyeshadow Palettes. I have two Huda Beauty picks within my Cult Beauty Christmas Gift Guide as I think any beauty lover would be delighted to receive a Huda Beauty product for Christmas.

My first pick is one of the four Huda Beauty Mini Obsessions Eyeshadow Palettes in Smokey Obsessions which is a cool toned eyeshadow lover’s dream palette.

These palettes really are ‘mini’ but they contain nine powder eyeshadows which are 1.11 grams each which aren’t that small so don’t let the small palette size put you off. The Smokey Obsessions Palette contains nine pigment-packed powders with matte, satin and foil-effect textures in neutral and metallic shades, and the shades are seriously beautiful.

Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette £56

Purple is my favourite colour so when I saw the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette launch, I knew I needed it in my life. The Huda Beauty Rose Gold Palette really tempted me but the reviews were so divided that I didn’t want to take the plunge however the Desert Dusk was going to be mine even if everyone hated it as the shades are so me. I’m not very adventurous when it comes to colourful eye makeup, but there are two colours I find easy to wear – purple and green, so I thought this palette would be amazing to team up with my masses of neutral palettes for a pop of colour.

The palette contains eighteen powder eyeshadows with eight mattes, six pressed pearls, three duo-chrome toppers and one pure glitter. I love the inspiration behind the palette as it encapsulates the shimmering dunes and iridescent, shade-shifting light of a desert at dusk. I love this palette so much and it’s my favourite palette launch of the year and there are some amazing swatches on the Cult Beauty website incase you need any more convincing; they are so, so pretty.

Iconic London Complete Eye Set £40

Iconic London is another brand I’ve never tried before but I’ve heard so many amazing things about the Iconic London makeup brushes. Iconic have quite a few brush sets to choose from, but this Complete Eye Set is such great value for £40 as it comes with a sleek, black, faux leather clutch with a chunky, rose gold zip which you could totally use as a clutch or makeup bag as it’s a really good size. Inside the clutch there are seven full sized Iconic London Makeup Brushes with matte black, wooden handles and rose gold ferrules. If the black and rose gold doesn’t tempt you, there’s even a cream and gold version too.

This set contains every eye makeup brush you could need for your eye and brow makeup and the brushes are vegan and cruelty free, with exceptionally soft and silky bristles. The brushes include the following; Large Shader, Eye Shader, Medium Angled Shader, Tapered Blending Brush, Pencil Brush, Small Angle Brush and Eyeliner Brush – all of which have synthetic bristles. Until now I’ve been a massive Zoeva fan (they even featured in my Beauty Favourites 2017 post), but I now need to try more from Iconic London if this brush set is anything to go by.

So they are all of my gorgeous Cult Beauty Christmas Gift Guide picks. I’d love to know which is your favourite? Are any of these gems on your Christmas wishlist?
