The November Degustabox was described as a Christmas box so I was intrigued to see what the theme would actually be for the December box, but it really doesn’t disappoint. Every month Degustabox chooses a “product of the month” and for the Degustabox December 2017 edit, the product is the Willies Cacao Black Pearls which are £6.59 to purchase and if you’re new to Degustabox, I have a promo code which entitles you to get your very first Degustabox for only £5.99 which is LESS than these chocolates alone. The code is I367L and it can be used here to purchase your first Degustabox.
The Willies Cacao Black Pearls featured in the Degustabox December 2017 edit could either be Sea Salt Caramel or Passion Fruit Caramel and I said above, they’re £6.59 to purchase so it’s amazing they’re included within this box. I got the Sea Salt Caramel version which are made from fruity Chulucanas 70 dark chocolate, and they sound absolutely delicious and the packaging is nice and luxe too. Planters feature in this box too as well as Novemeber’s with two packs of the Planters Nut-Rition Nut Mix in Energy Mix and Protein Mix which are £1.29 each, and each contain a natural source of fibre and protein.
There are three drinks within the Degustabox December 2017 box, with the first being the Sleep Well Vanilla Milk Drink worth £1.75, which combines jersey milk with honey valerian which is an herb that’s been helping people to relax and sleep for 2000 years. The next item is a good one if you’re driving over Christmas, as it’s an alcoholic-free beer; the San Miguel 0% worth £3 with the freshness, flavour and quality of beer without the alcohol content. The last drink is the new Robinson’s Fruit Creations Peach & Raspberry squash worth £1.99 which claims to have “twice the fruit”. I love Robinsons squash so I know I’ll really like this, and it’s no added sugar too.
I have heard so much about the Candy Kittens range but I’ve never tried them before so I’m pleased I finally can as this box contains the Candy Kittens Gourmet Sweets in Sour Watermelon worth £3, I really hope they’re as good as they look. The next item is a little different to anything I’ve tried before and is the Taking the Pea Smoked Ham Coated Crunchy Peas worth £1.50.
I’m not sure I’m going to like smoked ham flavoured peas but I’ll definitely give them a try, which is why I really enjoy the Degustabox as it makes me try products I’d never have bought instore. I also got the Popchips Galactic Puffs worth £1.99 in Sour Cream and Onion, which are Star Wars shaped puffs which is ideal to coincide with the launch of the new Star Wars film.
The first of the four last items is the Coldpress Valencia Orange Juice worth £1.50 which is a cold pressure juice so the vitamins and nutrients within he juice aren’t damaged by the usual heat pasteurised process other juice brands use. The last drink within the box is the Lift Matcha Instant Green Tea worth £4.49 and contains 15 stick sachets of powder which can be enjoyed both hot or cold.
Then we have the deliciously sounding Mary Berry’s Lemon & Mustard Seed Vinaigrette worth £2.99 which is said to be the perfect accompaniment for salmon, potato or pasta salad. Ryita feautre again for the very last product, and it’s the Ryvita Lightly Salted Rye Cakes worth £1.39, yet they featured in last month’s box too albeit a different flavour but they’re a good cupboard staple for any toppings you wish to choose.
So they are all of the products inside my Degustabox December 2017 box. I’d love to know which is your favourite item? Don’t forget to use my discount code at the top of my post to get your very first box for only £5.99 as it’s such a great box.
