I’ve heard so many amazing things about Jouer but somehow I’ve never tried any of their products before, but when I spotted their Christmas gift sets I knew I needed one to finally give Jouer a try. The Jouer Lip Creme sets are always super popular, and they’re available within the UK to purchase from Cult Beauty.
There are four lip creme sets as part of the Jouer Holiday collection; Best of Lip Topper Collection, Best of Nudes Collection, Best of Metallics Collection and Best of Deeps Collection, and if you read my blog on the regular you’ll know I’m a true nude lip fan so the Jouer Best of Nudes Lip Creme Collection £30 was definitely the set for me.
The Jouer Best of Nudes Lip Creme Collection contains eight x 2ml mini lip cremes packaged within a really stunning, pearlised gift box with holographic raised spots all over it. It really does look and feel very luxurious, and I love how the lip cremes are displayed within the box with their names in holographic.
The set is £30 and the lip cremes are 2ml, which might sound very small but they’re insanely pigmented so I really do think they’d last for a very long time and this is such an amazing way to be able to try multiple shades in one as you can always purchase the full sizes of your favourite shades.
One full size Jouer Long Wear Lip Creme is £15 and contains 6ml, so these 8 tubes work out at being worth £5 a shade so in total the set is worth £40 which is fantastic especially as you’re getting 8 shades in one set.
Tawny Rose – Matte cool dusty rose.
Naked – Matte cool peachy pink.
Bare – Matte warm nude fawn.
Terra – Matte neutral deep ochre.
Rose – Cool metallic champagne mauve.
Rayanne – Matte cool grey nude.
Papaye – Metallic warm peach.
Dulce de Leche – Matte cool nude.
I absolutely love the range of shades Jouer has chosen for this Jouer Best of Nudes Lip Creme Collection as you’ve got warm and cool toned shades as well as matte and metallics, and you can obviously wear them individually or mix them for custom shades. Each of the tubes have a full size applicator as every swatch here is one swipe of the doefoot applicator.
I honestly couldn’t believe how pigmented the shades all were, as I expected to have to swipe back and forth for a fully opaque swatch/application but you can do each lip with only one swipe which really impressed me. My favourite shades would have to be Dulce de Leche, Tawny Rose and Naked, but they’re all such pretty shades and I love them all. I can’t believe I’ve left it this long to try Jouer, but I’ll definitely be trying more from the brand during 2018.
I would love to know if you’ve ever tried anything from Jouer before? Which is your favourite in the Jouer Best of Nudes Lip Creme Collection?
