There are a few beauty tasks in life which are pretty grim but they’re extremely satisfying, and using pore strips is the perfect example. They’re not said to be very good for the skin, but they’re very effective at removing blackheads from the skin and it’s always very satisfying to see how much grime you’ve been able to remove from your skin. I have had acne since I was a teen, and I don’t mind the odd blemish either. I’ve had numerous blemishes on my chin and jawline consistently since I was 13, so I’m always on the lookout for tools which will help prevent possible blemishes and help my skin look as good as it can. When I was given the oppurtunity to try the Sensse Electrical Facial Pore Suction Cleanser £59.99, I immediately thought I wouldn’t be able to use it as the thought of using a suction device on my blackheads really turned my stomach.
However after doing some research into the device, I knew I had to give it a go even if it was a little weird as the reviews on Amazon totally sold it to me and I loved the idea of being able to remove blackheads without using pore strips which are pretty harsh on the skin.
When purchasing the Sensse Electrical Facial Pore Suction Cleanser via Amazon, in the box you get the device itself which is white plastic with rose gold metallic accents, as well as a rose gold coloured charging stand. In addition to the stand, you also get two further attachment heads which means you get three in total.
The device is charged via an USB cable which I really like as I find it so much easier than having to bother with plugs, and the stand makes it super easy to charge as it holds the device in place. The Sensse Electrical Facial Pore Suction Cleanser also comes with a two year warranty which I thought was really good for extra peace of mind.
“Our SENSSE Pore Suction Cleanser & Blackhead Removal Tool will give you the results of expensive esthetician and spa treatments for a fraction of the price and from the comfort of your own home. Daily use will help you maintain these results which will save you time and money while revealing a more youthful you with healthier, happier skin.
It has been designed and tested to optimize results. Its cutting-edge suction technology allows it to extract dirt, oils, acne, blackheads, whiteheads, and other impurities that are buried within your skin without causing irritation or damage to your skin or pores. This will benefit your skin by removing the harsh impurities that cause blemishes and sensitivities while allowing your skin to absorb healthy creams, serums, and vitamins. It’ll then close your pores and tighten your skin to prevent further outbreaks.”
How do you use the Sensse Electrical Facial Pore Suction Cleanser?!
Firstly you need to choose which size nozzle you need to use, depending on the size of the area you wish to treat and then you need to fill the small water tank in the top section, just below the nozzle and close the valve tightly. To turn the device on, you simply hold the power button for a couple of seconds and it begins to lightly vibrate and the nozzle lights up which helps to guide you to apply the nozzle to the right area. The nozzle emits a fine water mist during use, and there are three intensities to choose from allowing you to choose a gentler or more intense suction.
The recommended treatment time is three minutes as you don’t want to go overboard and damage the skin, so I’ve been sticking to a one minute limit as my skin is very sensitive. Once you turn the device on, the water mist starts instantly so I’d recommend placing the nozzle onto the skin before turning it on so you don’t squirt water everywhere.
I’m not sure I’ve seen an improvement in my blackheads as I only have one or two at any one time, but my pores do look clearer and less noticeable when wearing makeup which is a very welcome improvement. I imagine this device would work wonders on oily skin, as it can suck up any excess oils and sebum. It’s such a quick and easy tool to use within your existing skincare routine, and I like that it’s splash-proof so I’ve been keeping mine in my bathroom to use post-shower once I’ve removed my makeup with my chosen cleanser.
I’d love to know what you think about the Sensse Electrical Facial Pore Suction Cleanser? Is it something you’d want to try?
