I’ve tried a few Anastasia Beverly Hills products, but I’ve never tried any of their brushes until now. I decided I wanted to try one after seeing a few of my favourite beauty YouTuber’s use them in their videos. I originally wanted to try the #23 Pro Face Detail Brush but I didn’t fancy paying £26 for a brush which wasn’t particularly unique in it’s shape, so I decided upon the Anastasia Beverly Hills Large Synthetic Duo Brow Brush #12. I have quite a few brow brushes in my brush collection, but nothing I love but I still think £18 is a lot to pay for a brow brush.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Large Synthetic Duo Brow Brush #12 – £18 – Cult Beauty
As the name suggests, this is a synthetic brow brush with one side having an angled brow brush and the other is a spoolie. Anastasia Beverly Hills have four different brow brushes within their brush collection; #20, #12, #15 and 7B, and I chose the #12 as I liked that it was a smaller, more precise brush. The bristles are quite stiff but that’s exactly what you want from a brow brush, so the bristles stay firm when working your chosen brow product through your brows.
This is the best brow brush I’ve ever tried and I don’t know what it is which makes it so superior to other brow brushes. It does a great job at filling in my brow hairs at the front of my brows, all the way through to the arches and tails of the brows. The brush is very fine so you can create thin, hair-like strokes and it works well with powders, gels and pomade brow products. Even though it’s the best brush I’ve bought, I still don’t think it’s worth £18.
Anastasia Beverly Hills increased all of their prices dramatically in the last few months, and I only paid £14 for this brush which I think is a lot more reasonable, but for a brow brush with very little bristles I think £18 is too much.
I would love to know if you’ve tried any of the Anastasia Beverly Hills brushes before?
