It’s time for the Degustabox January 2018 box, and I couldn’t wait to see which treats were inside this month’s box. I really am loving featuring a more varied range of posts on my blog since my rebrand back in April, and I always like to showcase the Degustabox’s as I think they’re a great option for those that perhaps don’t want a beauty box subscription but still enjoy the surprise element that comes with a subscription service.
I’ve featured a number of Degustabox’s on my blog now which you can see here, and today I have the Degustabox January 2018 box to show you. Don’t forget you can use the code: I367L to get your first box for only £5.99 when purchasing through this link.
First off I got the Robinsons Raspberry, Rhubarb and Orange Blossom Fruit Cordial worth £2.49 which is a totally new product, and boxes will contain one of three flavours within the box. It’s said to be a sophisticated twist on squash with combinations of real fruit and botanical flavours, and it’s packaged within a glass bottle. I’m not sure on the Rhubarb but I’ll still give it a try regardless as I love squash. Another drink this month is the Mahtay Yerba Mate Sparkling Tea worth £1.49 and it contains a blend of South American Yerba Mate with coconut water and acai berries to deliver a refreshing taste, natural energy and supportive health benefits.
To coincide with January and the ‘new year, new me’ mindset many have the Degustabox January 2018 box includes two LighterLife Shakes in Strawberry Passion and Vanilla Velvet worth £2.49 each. These are ready to drink shakes which are high in protein and can be used as part of a LighterLife plan as a meal replacement or a protein hit. I’m not going to use these, but I’m sure many will find them handy if they’re doing the LighterLife diet plan this January.
Next up is the Explore Cusine Organic Edamame & Mung Bean Fettuccine worth £3 which contains a high amount of plant based protein and fibre, with 22g of protein per 50g serving which is almost three times the amount in regular pasta. I really like the sound of this, and I hope it tastes as good as it looks. Then this month the boxes will receive one of two items and I have both to show you, with the first being the Miso Tasty Spicy Ramen Noodle Kit worth £2.99 and contains non fried noodle nests, red miso pastes and spice/seaweed garnishes.
If you didn’t get the Miso Tasty Spicy Ramen Noodle Kit within your box, you’ll instead have two of the Mallow & Marsh Coconut Marshmallow Bar worth £1.35. This is an under 100 calorie coconut marshmallow using only natural ingredients and are made within the UK. The box also contains a ‘gift sample’ of Clipper Everyday Organic Tea Bags with 10 teabags which is a nice extra to accompany your Coconut Marshmallow Bars. Also there is the Latin American Kitchen Chipotle Mayo Topping worth £1.80 which is a creamy, hot and spicy may topper which makes for a great addition to any of the Latin American Kitchen range.
The box also includes two products from Pulsin; the Pulsin Complete Protein Powder worth £1.99 in natural vanilla flavour, as well as the Pulsin Vanilla Choc Chip Protein Booster worth £1.59. Rob is obsessed with protein as he’s a sport freak so he snapped these up as soon as he saw them in the box, and he loved them and has added them to his ‘to buy’ list as he really enjoyed them. Another item from the Latin American Kitchen with the Colombian Crunchy Chicken Bites Seasoned Corn Coating worth £0.90 which is a mild blend which can be added to chicken for a crunchy, Colombian style coating. Plus the Wild Planet Albacore Wild Tuna Steaks worth £3.49 and are 100% pole and line caught, and are cooked once to retain natural juices within the can.
The last items in the box are my favourites as I have a massive sweet tooth.. the Hershey’s Cookie ‘n Cream 5 Pack Snack Pack worth £1 which are white chocolate mini bars with oreo like biscuit pieces and they really are delicious. The last two items are two of the Jordans Frusli Juicy Red Berries Bars worth £0.45 each containing a mix of British berries and wholegrain oats.
So they are all of the items inside the Degustabox January 2018 box. I’d love to know which is your favourite item? Plus don’t forget to use my promo code if you’d like your very first box for £5.99.
