The Stila Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows were definitely the biggest beauty launch of 2017, and I myself absolutely love them although I wish they were a little cheaper as they’re £23 each so I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect dupe. What makes the Stila Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows so unique is that they’re saturated with multi-faceted glitter and shimmer in a lightweight, liquidy base which applies to the lids easily and locks in place without excess glitter fallout and they’re truly beautiful. Lots of brands have cream eyeshadows and glitter eyeliners, but I’ve never come across a product like the Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows until I discovered the Heng Fang £1.50 Stila Glitter and Glow dupes on AliExpress.
I for one really hate how overused “dupe” is as it’s whacked on any product which is remotely similar to another, without actually being a dupe but these eyeshadows truly are a genuine dupe for the Stila eyeshadows and they’re just £1.43 each (here) with FREE UK shipping which is incredible. I purchased mine from this AliExpress seller and they arrived in eight days which is the fastest I’ve ever had an AliExpress order arrive so I can recommend this specific seller wholeheartedly as they were well packaged too.
The Heng Fang £1.50 Stila Glitter and Glow dupes are £1.43 each and are available in six different shades which are just numbered, and they don’t have an exact name. On the box, the Heng Fang £1.50 Stila Glitter and Glow Dupes are called Heng Fang Diamond Bead Light Water Fluid of Eyeshadow which doesn’t make a lot of sense but I’m guessing it’s just a translation issue. I didn’t know if these eyeshadows were going to be any good but I ordered three shades to try them, and I’ve already ordered the other three shades as they are AMAZING.
Packaging wise they’re relatively similar to the Stila Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows in that they’re both in rectangular tubes, with a clear base and a metallic lid. The Heng Fang Eyeshadows have a rose gold lid whilst the Stila Eyeshadows have a golden lid. Both versions have the same doefoot applicator which can be used to apply directly to your eyelids but with both versions I prefer to apply to the back of my hand and then use a brush to apply to my eyelids. Both versions don’t have a detectable scent, and they both have an identical consistency and glitter saturation.
I know there’s a lot of debate over buying cosmetics from eBay and AliExpress which I’d completely agree with when it comes to fake makeup. However Heng Fang is a registered company and although yes these are dupes of the Stila eyeshadows, they’re no different to what Makeup Revolution, W7 and Technic do with their imitation products. Heng Fang aren’t passing these off as being Stila eyeshadows like a lot of brands try and do, and I’d recommend doing a patch test before trying any eye makeup anyway but I’ve had zero issues with these and my skin and eyes are ridiculously sensitive. Are you ready for the swatches?!?!
I wanted to include two different photos of the swatches of the Heng Fang £1.50 Stila Glitter and Glow Dupes, the top photo is slightly out of focus and really shows the sparkle and multidimensional effect of the shadows whereas the second shows the colours a little better. I seriously cannot believe these are not Stila eyeshadows, and they’re £1.43 each as they’re identical to my Stila versions but they’re £21.57 cheaper and I was able to buy all six shades they do for £8.58 yet if I’d bought six of the Stila shadows it’d set me back £138.
I am going to do another post when my other three shades arrive so I can swatch all six shades but I think this is the most exciting dupe I’ve ever discovered and I cannot recommend them enough. They apply just like my Stila versions and they last just as long on the lids which is insane considering the price. I am hoping Heng Fang will launch more shades as I LOVE, love love them so much.
I’d love to know your thoughts on these stunning Stila dupes?
