Homeware Wishlist February 2018

Wishlist posts are some of my favourite posts to write, and I am loving everything homeware related right now as I’m currently in the midst of renovating our bedroom which I mentioned here. I have been scrolling through Pinterest looking for inspiration for my bedroom and I’ve put together a collection of the items I’m currently lusting after for my new bedroom. My bedroom doubles up as an office too, so I like it to feel as cosy and comfortable as possible as I spend so much of my time in there so here are just a few things I’m eyeing up for my new bedroom…

Homeware Wishlist February 2018

1 – Kicking things off, how incredible is this chevron print bedding set with flamingos?! I love the monochrome design as it’d match the black and white striped wallpaper I have on my new feature wall and I just love flamingos. It has a reversible design too with the underside being white with the brightly coloured flamingos and it’s currently sitting in my online basket waiting for me to checkout.

2 – I think I may have an obsession when it comes to throws and blankets as I can’t stop buying them. I don’t need any new throws but this massive chunky pom pom throw from Dunelm is amazing and it looks so cosy which is exactly what I want from a throw. I like anything grey when it comes to bedding, throws and blankets but if grey isn’t your colour they do a few different colours; all with the same pom pom detailing.

3 – I have bought a few new pretty plates recently which I use for storing jewellery, memory cards or anything else I have a habit of losing and I think this palm leaf print plate from H&M is perfect. I can’t get enough of the whole palm leaf print trend right now, so this plate would be a great addition to my room. It’s only £3.99 but I think it looks like it should cost a lot more, but H&M always do really lovely homeware items.

4 – Would any homeware wishlist be complete without a cute fluffy cushion?! I think this faux fur fluffy cushion would complement the throw very well, and you can never have enough cushions in my opinion. Ideally I’d really love these cushions scattered on a hammock with stand, for the ultimate relaxation, but right now they’d work on the bed or sofa too. This particular cushion looks incredibly soft and fluffy and I like the nice, natural colour too as it’ll work with almost any bedding colour although clashing bedding doesn’t really bother me.

5 – I can’t wait for peony season to start as I love having fresh peonies in my home, but in the mean time these artificial peonies in a jar from Wilko will do the job nicely. They look pretty realistic for only £6, and I love that they come with the jar too so I don’t have to worry about trying to be artistic trying to arrange them in a jar.

6 – My last item is definitely the most unglamorous but perhaps my most wanted item – a new memory foam mattress. I have been doing so much research into which brand to go for, but I just don’t have a clue as there are so many to choose from and most of them have a 100 day money back guarantee. My current mattress is giving me such a bad back that I’m going to have take the plunge and buy one very soon when I finally decide which is going to be the best option.

I’d love to know if you like any of the items on my homeware wishlist? Tell me in the comments below…
