It’s time for my favourite subscription box of the month; the Look Incredible Beauty Box. If you’re new to Look Incredible, they have three different beauty box subscription options – the Standard Box, the Deluxe Box and the My Secret Box, and today I have the Look Incredible Deluxe February 2018 box to show you. The Deluxe Box is £35 per month and contains 4-5 full time luxury beauty items, with zero samples or sachets and no tiny perfume vials and they always impress me with their boxes. I’m starting to fall out of love with the likes of Glossybox and Birchbox with the sample sizes, repeats and smaller box values so for me, the Look Incredible boxes are a refreshing change as I’m yet to be disappointed by one of their boxes.
The one item in the box I won’t use is the UTAN & Tone Firming Coffee Scrub worth £18 as I hate anything coffee based – I know I’m a weirdo, but I just can’t get on board with coffee or tea, so coffee scrubs are never going to work for me but I know they’re extremely popular so it’ll be a great addition to the box for many. It is a low-oil scrub which has been specially formulated for prepping your skin before tan, and claims to tighten, tone, reduce cellulite and stretch-marks and is said to be the fastest and most effective way to remove residue self-tan – and it can even be used on the face.
Next up is the Shiseido Perfect Mascara Full Definition worth £24 and is described as having an exceptional formula and brush that captures every single lash for an opulent and lustrous finish, that maintains a just-applied 16 hour glamorous look. It has a dual-textured brush which coats every lash while the firm tip captures even tiny lashes to add remarkable volume, separation and length. Its non-clumping formula allows for multiple, smooth coats. Contains Camellia Oil Complex to nourish and condition lashes. We got the Shiseido Nourishing Mascara Base in the September Deluxe Box and I’ve really been enjoying it so I’m excited to try this mascara as the brush looks amazing.
The next product within the Look Incredible Deluxe February 2018 edit is theBalm Meet Matt(e) Hughes Longlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Dedicated worth £15. With a long-wearing formula that has a comfortable matte finish with no commitment issues, with a matte vanilla mint finish the Meet Matt(e) Hughes liquid lipsticks are ‘stuck on you without feeling clingy’. Dedicated is a berry pink shade and I think it’d work well with theBalm Pickup Lip Liner we got in the December box in the shade Fine All Over. Everyone is loving matte liquid lipsticks right now, and theBalm is such a great quality brand so I imagine this will be a fantastic formula.
The last item is very much my favourite, standout product and is the Cargo Cosmetics Getaway Eyeshadow Palette worth £34 and it is such a beauty. I already have three Cargo Palettes and I love them so much, so my eyes lit up when I spotted this nestled within the box. The twelve shades are arranged into three quads which is genius, as you can use each of the quads to create an eyeshadow look for the times you’re lacking inspiration or of course you can use anything you want but I love it when a palette gives you a guide on how best to use the shades. The shades include matte, shimmer and glitter shades and my favourite shades from just looking at the palette have to be Journey, Vacation and Flight but they all look beautiful and I like that it’s a cooler toned palette as I’m a little tired of all the many warm palettes being launched right now.
