Sol de Janeiro Samba Foot Fetish Care

Sol de Janeiro Samba Foot Fetish Care - Sol de Janeiro Samba Foot Fetish Cream and Foot Smoothing Board Review

One of my favourite brand discoveries of 2017 is without a doubt Sol de Janeiro after I fell head over heels in love with their iconic Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, Brazilian 4Play Shower Cream and Brazilian Kiss Lip Butter. After initially trying that trio of Sol de Janeiro goodies, I’ve also tried and loved the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Body Spray and Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Touch Hand Cream so I knew I needed to try the new Sol de Janeiro Samba Foot Fetish Care from Cult Beauty and add it to my Sol de Janeiro family. I have enjoyed the hand cream so much, it’s become my all time favourite hand cream so I wasn’t sure if a separate foot cream was needed as I could have used my handcream on my feet but they really are very different, and very much needed within my collection.

Sol de Janeiro Samba Foot Fetish Care - Sol de Janeiro Samba Foot Fetish Cream and Foot Smoothing Board Review

The Sol de Janeiro Samba Foot Fetish Care is £25 and comes with a 90ml full size tube of the Sol de Janeiro Samba Foot Fetish Cream, and an adorable Foot Smoothing Board which is designed to resemble a surf board which is just perfect for the Brazilian beauty brand. The Foot Smoothing Board even comes with its own little drawstring bag to keep it in, and I think 90ml is generous for a foot cream as the rest of the foot creams in my collection are around 50-75ml each.

Samba 2-Step Foot Fetish Care, from the land where pretty feet are as important as pretty hands, is the sexiest foot care system to keep feet looking — and feeling — smooth. Everyone in Brazil truly has a foot fetish. Brazilians adore sexy heels and sandals, and they like their feet to be soft, smooth and very kissable.

We also wanted a foot care system that was easy and quick to use, after all who has time to soak your feet every day and put on a foot cream that takes hours to absorb.

That’s why we created our unique dry foot care system: Samba 2-Step Foot Fetish Care with a Smoothing Foot Board and Samba Foot Fetish Cream. This fast absorbing, non-greasy, non-slip high heel tested formula won’t have you slipping around in your heels! The result is super soft, sexy, catch- me, kiss-me feet that are ready to go samba dancing.”

The directions for using the Sol de Janeiro Samba Foot Fetish Care set are to exfoliate dry skin on your feet with the Foot Smoothing Board to soften rough and calloused feet. Once your dry skin has been buffed with the board, massage the feet with the Samba Foot Fetish Cream which has a non-slip and fast-absorbing formula. The Samba Foot Fetish Cream is infused with super Brazilian Beauty Blend ingredients such as Cupuaçu Butter, Coconut Oil and Açai with the Sol de Janeiro signature scent with top notes of pistachio and almond, middle notes of helioptrope and jasmine petals and a base of vanilla, salted caramel and sandalwood.

The foot cream smells incredible just like the other products within the range, and the scent lingers amazingly on the skin just like the hand cream and Bum Bum cream. The hand cream had such an interesting formula as it starts very thick, but it massages into almost a watery consistency which is extremely lightweight and non-greasy which is exactly what I want in an hand cream.

The Samba Foot Fetish Cream has a very thick consistency which is almost like a gel/cream, but it remains rich on the skin and it’s very rich so it’s the kind of foot cream I like to apply at night when I know I don’t need to walk around so I can leave it to full absorb or wear a pair of cotton socks overnight for an even more intensive treatment.

The Foot Smoothing Board has quite a coarse grit which is very effective at smoothing any dry patches on the feet, and I hate using files on my feet as I have a weird hatred of feet but this file is surprisingly pleasant to use and the surfboard shape actually makes it easy to hold too. Until now my favourite foot cream has been the Soap and Glory Heel Genius but the Sol de Janeiro Samba Foot Fetish Care is on another level in comparison.

It leaves my feet feeling insanely soft and smooth, and it’s not a foot cream I have to reapply daily either as it the nourishment and softness lasts for around 48 hours before I want to reapply which never happens with foot creams. I’ve even been using the foot cream as an intensive hand cream after I’ve used nail polish remover as it’s so intensely hydrating.

I have never tried a foot cream which is better than the Sol de Janeiro Samba Foot Fetish Care, and it’s going to take some serious beating as it’s my perfect foot cream and the divine scent is just incredible.. they really need to create candles next as I want my whole body and home to have this gorgeous fragrance.

Have you tried anything from the Sol de Janeiro range?
