Shea Moisture Argan Oil and Almond Milk Smooth & Tame Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Shea Moisture are a natural, organic and sustainably-produced hair, skin, bath and body product brand with products which are free from parabens, phtalates, mineral oil, paraffin, petroleum and formaldehyde. I tried Shea Moisture for the first time back in September last year and I really enjoyed both the Shampoo and Conditioner from the Coconut Water Weightless range. Shea Moisture have just launched two new haircare ranges; Argan Oil and Almond Milk Smooth & Tame range  as well as the 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration range and I have the shampoo and conditioner from the Shea Moisture Argan Oil and Almond Milk range (available from Superdrug) which I’ve been trialling.

Shea Moisture Argan Oil and Almond Milk Smooth & Tame Conditioner £10.99

Replenish, moisture and tame dry, frizzy hair with this revitalizing conditioner. Community Commerce sourced Argan Oil, organic Shea Butter and Almond Milk combine in this high-performance formula that effectively detangles, smoothes, and revives hair.”

I have long, very thick hair which is super frizzy and difficult to manage so I’m always looking for products which will help make my mane more manageable as it takes me ages to brush and blow dry, and then style with straighteners or a curling wand. I have always sworn by the powers of argan oil for my hair so I love using haircare products containing argan oil as it really helps to tame my frizz so I knew I’d love this duo from Shea Moisture especially as they smell divine.

Together they effectively cleanse and condition without stripping the hair, whilst leaving it feeling softer, smoother and considerably more easy to manage. The conditioner isn’t the most intensive conditioner I’ve used, but it’s not laden down with sulfates and it’s gentle enough for coloured hair. Whenever my hair is feeling particularly dry, I like to follow up with a leave in conditioner but for everyday it offers enough hydration and nourishment. They make my hair feel lovely, and I like that the conditioner has a pump as it makes it easy to dispense when in the shower but I wish the shampoo also had a pump too.

I’d love to know if you’ve tried anything from Shea Moisture before?
