Soaper Duper are a bath and bodycare brand with products which contain high percentages of naturally derived ingredients without the hefty price tag. Generally products which are natural ingredient based are pretty pricey, but Soaper Duper are a great budget friendly option especially as their products can be found in larger Tesco stores as well as their website. I’ve already tried two of their many scents; Yuzu Fruit & Fig, and Zesty Lemon scents and now the range has been extended even further with the introduction of the Soaper Duper Nourishing Coconut Body Wash and Body Butter.
The Soaper Duper Nourishing Coconut Body Wash is £6.50 for 500ml and is currently an online exclusive, and the Soaper Duper Nourishing Coconut Body Butter is £7.50 for 200ml. You can purchase them individually on the Soaper Duper website, or you can find them both as well as an extra bottle of the body wash for £20 which is a great price if you want to try the products together. They both smell very authentic in terms of coconut scents which I love, but it’s not a sickly sweet coconut which some brands do and it’s not at all over powering.
The Soaper Duper Nourishing Coconut Body Wash contains 96% naturally derived ingredients and contains shea, coconut water, aloe vera, jojoba seed oil, orange peel oil and natural quillaja soap bark. It’s a really nice body wash which lathers well to leave my skin feeling soft.
Due it having an SLS/SLES free formula, it’s not the most creamiest of lathers but it’s very gentle on the skin and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling depleted of moisture post shower but the matching body butter is the ideal accompaniment to intensify the delicious coconut scent. I love that coconut scents remind me of exotic holidays, and I know I’ll be using these a lot as the weather warms up and it’ll be perfect for when I’m back to wearing dresses again and I want my legs to look as soft and smooth as possible.
For the Soaper Duper Nourishing Coconut Body Butter, it contains 97% naturally derived ingredients with deep moisturising shea butter, coconut water, kukui seed oil, peach oil, cotton seed oil, orange peel oil and antioxidant Vitamin E. It is described as having a special very dry skin formula that sinks right in which I have to agree with. In the tub, the body butter looks like a very rich, thick white cream but when you dip your finger into it to, only a small amount transfers onto your finger as it’s quite watery.
Even though it feels more watery than a typical body butter (which I guess is down to the coconut water) it doesn’t skimp on nourishment. Instead it really hydrates the skin without the tackiness, and lengthy absorption time other body butters have.
I would love to know if you’ve tried anything from Soaper Duper before? Are you a coconut fan?
