Feelunique Earth Month Facebook Live + Vegan Beauty Products Featuring Lime Crime, Inika, Jason, Sanoflore, Antipodes

Did you know that April is Earth Month?! Infact 2018 is the 48th anniversary of Earth Month, and Earth Day was the 22nd of April. Earth Month was established to create awareness and appreciation of the fragile planet, and Earth Day had over a billion participants. To celebrate Earth month, Feelunique are holding a Facebook Live: Earth Month Edition on the 30th of April (Monday) between 12pm to 5pm with some of their favourite earth friendly brands. To celebrate Earth Month, I was kindly given a selection of products from their vegan beauty brands, many of which I’d never tried before.

Inika Long Lash Mascara £23

Inika is the first brand I’ve never tried, but I’ve seen it feature on blogs many times before and I didn’t even know Feelunique stocked Inika. Inika are a natural, vegan and organic makeup brand with non-toxic products and their range is pretty extensive too. This mascara is available in two shades; Black or Brown and is said to provide ultra-long lashes and a glamorous look. The wand has natural bristles and is pretty narrow so it works nicely to get to the roots of the lashes, and evenly coats the lower lashes without smearing mascara all over the skin which is always a bonus.

– INIKA Vegan Long Lash Mascara provides ultra long lashes and a glamorous look.
– Lengthening formula helps to define lashes while nourishing and protecting.
– 100% plant derived with extra-long staying power.
– Antioxidants help to boost lash vitality.
– Ideal for sensitive eyes.
– Certified Vegan, Cruelty Free, and Halal.
– 100% Natural.

Jason Mineral Sunscreen SPF30 £14.99

I’ve never tried a mineral sunscreen before so I really can’t wait to try this. The JASON Mineral Natural Sunblock SPF 30, with high sun protection has been improved with enhanced natural technology. For very sensitive skin to deliver the protection and important skin benefits you and your family deserve. Chamomile and Marigold Extracts helps calm and soothe skin – and it’s even water resistant upto 80 minutes, is hypoallergenic, reef safe and biodegradable. I have super sensitive, very pale skin which burns extremely easily so I know I’m the perfect candidate for trying this sunscreen.

Lime Crime Plushies – Milk Tea £18

I have only ever tried a couple of the Lime Crime unicorn lipsticks so I was really excited to try one of their Plushies, as they’re a relatively new launch and I had no idea Lime Crime was a vegan brand either. The Lime Crime Plushies are named after plush soft toys, with a non-opaque soft focus formula which enhances your natural lip colour whilst making your lips look ‘plush’. The shades are all quite neutral, and I have the shade Milk Tea which is a super pretty browny nude shade which I know I’ll get a lot of use from as I love nude shades. It has the most amazing scent too, it smells just like blackcurrant chewitts too and feels so lightweight on the lips with zero stickiness.

Antipodes Hosanna H2O Skin Plumping Serum £29.99 (for 30ml full size)

I’ve tried a few products from Antipodes and I did really enjoy them but their scents weren’t my cup of tea so I’ve not tried anything else until now. I’m really sensitive when it comes to scents of skincare, but if you don’t mind herbal scented skincare I think you’d enjoy Antipodes products. This is a “water-charged and oil-free bioactive serum that immediately quenches thirsty skin and helps intensively improve skin appearance over time. Revolutionary Vinanza Grape antioxidant keeps skin super-hydrated and protected from the damage caused by environmental aggressors and pollutants. Mamaku black fern helps foster healthy cell renewal”.

Sanoflore Aqua Magnifica Skin Perfecting Botanical Essence 200ml £18

The last of the vegan brands stocked at Feelunique which I’ve been trying is Sanoflore which is a brand I’ve never heard of before. This Botanical Essence is designed to restore balance and purity with its unique complex of 9 organic essential oils, combined with star ingredient organic peppermint oil and floral water, releases impurities, tightens pores, and illuminates the complexion. The botanical essence soothes reactions to inflammation and oxidation while stimulating desquamation to restore freshness and radiance. I can’t wait to try this, it sounds like such a lovely product and the reviews I’ve read have all been very complementary so I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.

Make sure you tune into the Feelunique Earth Month Facebook Live on Monday the 30th of April between 12pm and 5pm, and ‘Like’ Feelunique on Facebook to keep up to date on their Facebook Lives.
